Was there for some of both games...campbelltown dominated the prems game... ressies was even.

Doesnt campbelltown have a keeper? outfield player in goals for both games...with a bib on, surely they have goalkeeper tops

i thought the prems game was disgusting it was like watching 2 div3 teams play, didnt see no more then 2 passages of play.
camp'town unlucky not to score hiting the posts and cross bar several times
hope the standard picks up before the season
whether we fall by ambition, blood or lust

Not surprised to read this Skeet

Saw Gawler play late last year and my sentiments exactly. Not Prem league dude! will it get better? well, I saw them towards the end of the season (when you would expect the best standard) and hey were ordinary.

I am not sure, but believe that the Campbelltown Prems keeper had a prior engagement and was unable to play the trial game. I don't think that they have secured a keeper for the Reserves team as yet - but not 100% sure on that one!

I think the important thing to remember here is that both teams may have been taking advantage of the fact that it was a trial game, and testing/mixing players between teams/positions to see how they do/not work. There are a number of new faces amongst the Campbelltown teams this year.

Didn't watch the Prems game, but the reserves game was indeed pretty even. It didn't help Campbelltown that they did not have an experienced keeper in goals.
