[quote="brooksy7"]Ofcourse but didn't proceed to ba my team mate for the next 35mins for not scoring Wht the keeper thought was easy goals. Fact is I think the Vale had 1 long distance effort And the free kick b4 the final whistle and other than tht Inter's keeper had nothing to do. Therefore save to say the flapping in the breeze cost inter 2 pts bcoz without tht mistake wld have won the game 1 nil..
:clown: :clown:[/

the keeper has'nt played for the last 7 weeks, give him a break

A forward's view of football....no matter how many chances forwards miss, if the the goalkeeper makes 1 blunder-misjudgement and the teams loses by 1 or draws, then the keeper has cost them a game. Whether or not the keeper bags someone for their misses is irrelevant....(However, bagging your team mates not something I would ever have done during a game)

300 suggested in an earlier thread, but I imagine the sidelines were a bit more spartan than that.
300? You'd have thought someone would have mentioned it if they had that sort of number.

   the 300 refers to the 3 human vuvuzelas who make the noise of 300 ( in our opinion anyways...its become a regular bit of entertainment on a sunday arvo)......but yes we've had 300....over the last few seasons collectively   had nothing to do with rehagels peanuts delusions. However i note the moderators are nowhere to be seen for his constant badmouthing of the club and its nationality

No time for the complaints department but I assure you at least one moderator would have seen the post in question....without taking any corrective action.....and not even so much for the racial slanging but to wish another clubs closure is poor form even on a forum.

Club man, with all due respects to Macedonia utd and yourself, sundays result must be worrying.
Are there plans to bring in players ,or indeed change the coaching team for a more experienced option ?
Points are hard to come by and its just not happening for your club.
This league needs a competetive Macedonia Utd.

Why does the league need a competitive Macedonia ????? Yes they were successful many years ago
But.... Will they bring in extra money for the league???
Will they bring new players to the league?????
I think not
Let's not live in the past but let's look forward to the clubs that bringing some exciting football but also growth into our game .....

As for exiting football your lot wouldnt even come close even though some of our results of late havent justified the standard of play but you werent refering to results....Too right about moving forward though and i would say the knights got the better deal......

I know Div1 wouldnt be the same if there wasnt a Downs, Gardens Or Vale in there(East and Inter to a degree)

Clubs with history and pride, large suppoter base.

Im not saying that the League would fold but it wouldnt be the same, what BP said sounded disrespectful IMO.

I didn't read what he said as disrespectful just that there are bigger clubs than macedonia around the traps and you have named a few of them.

However, no one club is bigger than the league. Look at some of the big clubs that have left the EPL and the league doesn't suffer at all.
I guess it's the word NEEDS that I disagreed with. The league would be better with Downs etc.. but it doesn't NEED them.

Nothing like that. I don't think the tv deal for saasl relies on Downs being in the league.

Interesting thought mate. I have always said that certain club in Div 1 would be lost if it wasnt for the Downs, Gardens and Vale in the leauge.
This is due to the large crowd they bring and the amount that can be made over BBQs and Bars ect.
You are often heaning commments on hear like- thanks to the ???? supporters- "we have never sold out of BBQ", or " that was the most of??? we have ever sold"
Not saying these clubs wouldnt survive, but I think our 3 big club certainly help them be more viable and successful.
I think my drinking club has a soccer problem.....

Disagree slightly here. Last year, we made more profit on the Para Hills East and Elizabeth Grove home games than the Big "3".

Crowds are great to have but getting them to spend money can be more difficult. Inter were the dominant club through the years but they aren't as strong now and the league still prospers.

Very True Jay- Its also doesnt take into account the fact that weather and outside stuff like footy can disrput crowds

We have noticed bigger crowd this year now that we are more consistant and winning on the field. Even people we havnt seen in years are coming out. Its amazing what success can breed.

Also could you have made more profit due to the fact that your cost were less for those days? haha. We alsy need to buy more when the vale or gardens are coming.

Overall Div 1 is a great- competative leauge, and all the other clubs would be striving to get into it.
I think my drinking club has a soccer problem.....
