Thanks for the early notice, I'll let coach Blutey know. See you at 12:00

Getting out of bed on a sunday morning is tough for me. Was a very even game we had 4 chances in the first half and scored 4 goals, D Skelts in goals couldn't do anything with the goals we scored was a shame Locko scored two though. Spibey looked like a forty year old and moved like a fifty year old for westies. Brad needs to get Mick Harris in the first team to add some much needed muscle. See ya sunday OldRedBack and I'll have tommy Radford if he plays
Downs 1 Modbury Jets 1
great job ref. on ya Clarky

Will the Gardens be fielding a team this week against the Jets or will they be forfeiting?
With it being Father's Day we would like to know as early as possible.
Cheers

To all Modbury Vista +35's. Kick-off for this weeks game against the Downs at Argana Park is at 12pm. Can you pass this on to all non-formite team members?

Don't worry half the parafield gardens teams must have thought they had the bye as well.

to the gardens, disapointing and inconsiderate that you could not field a +35s team let alone let us know that u wont be playing,on a day i surely could've been doing something better than hanging around your club waiting for your players to turn up.gardens have done this a few times this year to other teams in the comp, without informing oppisition clubs, your +35s is a rabble of a team ...id like to see the saasl fine gardens for this, dont bother entering this league next year...
thats my rant

Yes I agree CTC it was very disapointing and up until 11:30 I thought that we would still field a team
and you are correct, our 35's are a rabble and I do apologise to the guys that had to wait on fathers day only to be told
we didnt have a team. If we do field a team next year we will make sure we have enough players or at least a carton
of beer for the opposition team as a Substitute !!
Due to the Downs Reserve teams involvement in the cup the +35s will be unable to play their game against Athelstone this week. Sorry fella's but a day out at Hindmarsh beckons.
Can any Athestone +35s's reading this pass the message on?
Heard there was a meeting with the league last night to discuss the rules for the 35's final, ie interchange or not and how many can be named in the squad, what was the verdict? Anyone know?
Heard that squads limited to 16. The +35 has been all about giving everybody a run so a tough call considering both teams have bigger squads than this (if all players fit). I expect some blokes are going to miss out
Didn't hear anything regarding interchange/substitution so assume that interchange will apply as it has all year. Would be stupid to play one rule all season and change it in the cup final. Better have plenty of stretchers and oygen on hand otherwise.

that is a tough call, so will the clubs pick their strongest squad, or draw names out of a hat if they have too much guys to choose from, lol, bit of a bummer for some guys as it could be their only chance at a game at hindmarsh!
