Team player who wins every challenge and is a vital link between defence and attack? yeah players like that are cabernet. Not only did a player like that win it he did so after missing the first 6 or so games.

I think he is a very deserved winner. I saw him for the first time when Flinders played at Brahma Lodge in the last game, he is skilful, he was everywhere,tireless worker,and fair, I know you cant judge a player on only one game, if I can be constructive by saying he doesnt need to try and do it all on his own,allow the ball to do more of the work,would be even more dangerous.
Did he use to play at Para Hills East ?

Would it be worth suggesting to the SAASL look at re introducing end of season Presentation Nights like we use to have many many years ago ? By memory it was like a dinner/dance, everybody got suited up,and had a cabaret style band playing - could make it BYO drinks make it easier.
I think it was held in the St Clair Youth center,failing that the Woodville Town Hall is central to most,plenty of parking /public transport access nearby ? Or are people happy with the current set up ?

Apparently it was not one of the strongest attended presentations,compared to past ones - if it wasnt for Parafield Gardens and the Seaford crowd,would have been half empty at least.

Is it true they did try to get that Sarah Murdoch chick to do the Sunday Div 1 award - you can just imagine it..."and the winner is L Campbell" and as Lachlan is about to make his speech,she would interrupt saying " sorry,sorry, I f***ed up,you didnt win,sorry,really sorry,can the real winner come up Paul Ebomo...."
