it does surprise me somtimes how the littel club is missed or not seriously looked at! Angle vale are a talented side and it has only been from cetain changes that some of the bigger clubs have advantages ..eg. the scenerio's of some clubs playing bottom teams 4 or 5 times and Angle Vale playing them twice. ( nothing was done about it ) yet ...
Interestingly enough in u14 this the league was changed 4 times 2 were due to the larger clubs winging about not being able to play the weaker sides more ! , funny how it works
or how in challenge cup the draw seems to always pick the the top clubs to play... not quite what i call transparency.
anyway i think angle vale have the strongest chance of taking top spot and should go all the way to challenge cup

Re: EDJSA U18 Comp
Do Angle Vale still play at the school , always found it a bit small, the club and players were always most welcoming and I congratulate them on being so competitive against the Larger clubs.
I have always had an axe to grind about the special treatment handed out to certain clubs, and I have even gone so far as to contact the organisers personally for an explanation , none was ever given to my satisfaction, good luck to the small clubs as without them it would be TTG vs MV every week.

Angle Vale U18 are a great team and should feature prominantly in both the league and cup race this year. They have some good talent and will punish teams that underestimate them.cannavaronesta wrote:it does surprise me somtimes how the littel club is missed or not seriously looked at! The U18 comp this year is quite clean as it works out that all teams play each other twice.
Angle vale U18 play their home games at Elizabeth Grove on Sundays. Something about a clash with AFL at the Primary School.

Thanks for the AV update kramd, i think the Grove field is better especially for the U18 lads, my keeper was kicking the ball out at the far end on the ground at the school last time we played there .... and there is no point in trying to play with width cos you end up in the playground.
