It isn't cocky or predjudice to say that Vista is yet to be outplayed cos i know that will cause a massive uproar but every game we have been in the game until the whistle has blown which is a massive credit to this years coaching staff. Fulhams experience and coolness under pressure won them the game today, a soft penalty taken well and another goal from a mistake shortly after put Fulham ahead 2-0 half time. Vista put won past mid way through and kept pushing but some small basic touches let us down. Not going to blame the linesman, i thought he did a great job......that is the offical linesman who lined only our defence for both halves, the other guy was shite and blatant decisions cost opportunities, not goals but defenient opportunities.........is there a ruling if only 1 official linesman is present that they should take a half on each teams forward line? If someone can answer that for me that would be great
Goals win games, a team can make as many mistakes as they want however if you dont score you cant win. Vista were outplayed by a stronger much more disciplined Fulham outfit. the first 30 minutes was a fairly even contest vista pressing on goal numerous times with their pace and movement...... as soon as Fulham worked this out they slowed the tempo of the game. they used their one on one ability and strength to take the game to modbury. The first goal (the penalty) came from no error just lack of discipline and urgency in the box, when the ball wasnt cleared a tackle HAD to be made and it was unfortunate that the player could not get a touch on the ball. The second was not so much a keeper error more a combination of defensive errors and lack of midfield movement putting the keeper under pressure and as soon as the ball was turned over Fulham had time to put 6 passes together and steady and have a crack from 20 yards (great finish by the way). late in the second half vista pushed and pressured and managed to claw one back through a goalmouth scramble. however again a lack of discipline and a lack of maturity saw modbury lose there composure on the ball and all and any chances were floundered on their own accord. as for the offside late in the game....... yes pc you were on however it would not have changed anything as the keeper came off his line to gather the ball while you were at full pace...... i think that today we saw a different mindset from the team we have seen in two previous weeks, if the same team from the Inter game or the Fulham game had rocked up vista would be 3 points richer. Instead the club needs to re-think and jump back on the training track and get three more points.

Anyone from Grove wanna try and explain why their ressies referee was so fucking bad? the only time he blew his whistle was when a goal was scored or when the mindless linesman incorrectly put his flag up for offside. One of your players could have been injured just as easily as one of inters, I've never seen a game where the ref so badly has no control whatsoever over a game.

If Inter were the home team shouldn't it have been their referee?

Watching this game he was only a young lad who was clearly intimidated by the home side and as a result was afraid to make any decision. Unfortunatley this increases the chances of players getting hurt because you are basically playing without a ref.

-FLORINA WASTE 2-0 LEAD ONLY TO DRAW 2 - 2 TO WEST BEACH-

Salisbury Florina returned to Underdown Park to face West Beach who has drawn it's last three matches against quality opposition in USC Lion, Para Hills West and Elizabeth Vale. Salisbury Florina started the match in a confident manner pushing the ball around searching for the opening goal only to waste some early missed opportunities. Florina was soon to put themselves in the lead by breaking down the left wing and a cross was put into the box and bounced awardly for the West Beach keeper and a scrambled goal was put in the back of the net 1 - 0.

Salisbury Florina grew in confidence after the goal and took control of the game and searched for the second goal. It was then Florina who scored again when a cross was flicked on and the header found the back of the net making it 2 - 0. Florina looked like they would score more and run out the game missing some more opportunities and looked like they would soon score a third. At this stage Florina seemed to take the foot off the pedal and looked content with the 2 - 0 lead before the half time whistle until some slack defending from Florina saw the West Beach forward pounce on a loose ball and went one on one with the keeper and slot it comfortably in the net 2 - 1 (Halftime).

The Second half saw the match go in spurts for both teams in controlling the game but Florina wasted opportunities like last week against Para Hills West in not scoring that crucial third goal that would kill off the opposition. As the second half drew closer to the end West Beach grew in confidence looking for that equaliser in which they found when the ball struck the Florina defender on the hand inside the box resulting in a penalty. The West Beach penalty taker struck it firmly slotting it inside the right hand post making it 2 - 2. Both teams had chances in the dying minutes to win the game none more noteable than when the West Beach player had a crack outside the box only to be denied by the stand in Florina Keeper who pulled off a cracker of a save. 2 - 2 (Fulltime)

This was probabaly game of the round especially because both teams have been undefeated going into the 6th Round.
Vikings had to win to silence alot of critics while Brahma Lodge had to desperately win to stay afloat with the top two.
The game was full of hard tackling and to the Ref's credit the game was in control. Brahma came out with fire in the 1st half but the Vikings matched them all over the ground. The half time score was 0 v 0. The second half both teams came out deperate for the 3 points. The Vikings were in control while Brahma Lodge decided to play some dirty tactics and as a result had 2 players sent off.The coach made 2 subs 10 mins into the half which made the difference in the forward line.
VIKINGS proved the quality team that they are, but full credit also goes out to Brahma Lodge for fighting to the very end.

Adelaide Vikings 4 v 2 Brahma Lodge.(B Team)

Vikings 3 wins in a row, are just beginning to gain some form after losing their 1st 3 games by a goal. Great team effort and looking to slowly crawl themselves back up to the top half of the ladder.
Lets geta few things straight here. Hard tackles are not dirty tactics. For 70 minutes what we all saw was a cracking game of football and a great advertisement for div 3, a quality game between 2 very good teams. The first half was even, the second half the Vikings were not in control, and in fact were completely under the pump until the frustrations of the previous 70 minutes of diabolicle refereeing saw us go down to 9 men. Now granted you can expect to receive a yellow card for having a go at the ref, but its a 2 way street and there is only so much players can take. Throw ins pointed our way by the VIKINGS linesman (no brahma player in sight to even touch the thing!) overruled by the ref. A yellow card shown to one of our players who accidently ran into the back of the ref as he was running down the park to receive a cross (ref of course did not even see it, but gets up, flashes a yellow and says 'you kicked me you dikhead). free kicks on the edge of the box when our player clean gets the ball and no vikings players even appeal for the free. The list goes on.

Players are the ones that pay a fee to play each week. Players are the ones busting their balls on the training track 2 nights a week. Players are the ones running around for 90 minutes on sunday for no financial reward. Yet yesterday the difference between the 2 teams was a bad ref and some frustrated brahma players.Cant take anything away from Vikings, they are a quality outfit, with 11 v 11 it was going to take alot to beat them, but at 11 v 9 we had absolutely no chance.

And just to prove a point that refereeing can be done well, the vikings had 2 refs during the ressies game, 1 for each half, and both did a brilliant job.

Great pitch by the way
Everything I wanted to write but didn't have the composure to lol. First half was amazing to watch, and if it stayed that way I was expecting a close 1-0 at the most that could go to either side. I wish the ref had watched the reserves game because that was a fine example of how to officiate a match from the Vikings boys. Quality club, and yes, we were debating bringing down a few trucks to load up with some of that brilliant green grass you boys have

Amateur football obviously means the world to these guys. Must mean something to you cause your always posting. Yea not bad result considering we had 4 players out as well? That was half of our reserves playing yesterday? ROFLMAO @ YOUR Reserve ref. clear penalty for us not given and goal for offside in a goal line scramble NOT GIVEN. p.s YOUR LINESMAN WAS A JOKE AS WELL. Hey what can you do its only amateur football. P.s your number 29 was a big joke as well.

Its a football match your are meant to be loud your players didnt help situation comeing across and staring cabernet obviously no sportsmanship on your players behalf.[/quote]

Try playing with 7 players missing...but no excuses, you got the 3 points from an unlucky own goal. Will be a different Croatia line-up in the next few weeks as players start coming back from injury. A mate at the game asked me if I knew any of your players - my response was I don't even know any of ours!

Your crowd was giving it to our player all day - was good fun I thought, he certainly loved it and started hamming it up to your crowd by doing muscle man poses, was faaarken hilarious I thought. Obviously your bottle thrower didn't like his muscle man impersonations.

Your knob jockey players made a point of trying to provoke our crowd when each goal was scored - running past them, showing the badge, shirt, kissing it - anyone would think it was a WC the way they were celebrating. Real small kurac symdrome there - didn't see any bottles thrown from Croatia supporters, like we give a faaaark.

Ya just can't medically treat inferiority complexes. Meant that much to you people your linesman had no shame blatanlty cheating to ensure the result. Supporters wearing green army beret's like heroes...ffs.

K -man stop humiliating yourself ....your suppose to be a leader at your club not a fkn twat. Stop wasting energy on conveying your beliefs & start trying to control that mob you call supporters.

Talk about 2 faced...You seem to have a different personality in real life than you do on this forum.

Your linesman deserves an ass kicking but jebiga of course he's going to support you guys....the only way to rectify the situation is if we pay proper linesman's...something you may wish to consider the next time we play...we'll come to the party by paying half the cost.

Green beret was inappropriate I thought considering we were there to play football. Tell the stari not to do it again - out of respect for the people he supposedly calls friends! We're not going to war....

Tidying up after yourselves would have been a nice gesture.

Anyway, all said & done was a really good game played in good spirits...Bosna won on the day simple as that. I thought the standard was high from both sides in the first half....second half you guys died in the ass. Tackles flying left, right & centre but what else did we expect.

East Boy wrote:Vale vs East:

Well another very frustrating week on the sidelines for me. In the first 10 minutes i thought we were in a lot of trouble. We were struggling to string 2 passes together and find targets and the Vale boys were doing it with ease. Luckily for us we keep the clean sheet till half time. We were still right in the game. Nothing too clear cut from the vale during the first half though. A lot of shots from 25yards out.
The second half started and we were just way way too slow to start to play. The first goal was an absolute belter from timmy crawford, not to mention with his rusty, i mean trusty, right boot. Nice strike indeed. I was giving you shite in the first half, then u made me eat my words   Then Vale scored again within 10 minutes i think. Nicholls too i rekon. Well taken goal. Then Andy Locke decided to lash out, after getting kicked himslef 2 mins ealier, and he got a straight red. I didn't think it was worthy of a straight red at all! It sounded bad yes, but it was boot on boot. The Vale bloke got straight up and kept playing! From there it was always going to be down hill. We got opened up on many occasions looking for a goal of our own. These things happen. Nicholls got another 1 of the last 2 taking his total to 11 is it?
All in all, from what i have seen of the top two sides, if they get a chance or a sniff even, they have the players with the ability to punish you. I dont think either the Farm or the Vale are anywhere near unbeatable. I thought the scoreline flattered Vale. I will be interested to hear what ginger or even tonksy thought of the game?
Vale 5 - 0 over the Easties
Well they say its a game of 2 halves and this was one to prove that.
We couldn't get our shape or passing going in the first half which help make East look competitive. Our defence watched their strikers all game and gavethem very little with East best chances coming from outside the box.
Likewise our Best opportunities were also long range.
The 2nd half was a complete different story. The Vale come out playing the way we know we can and over-ran andout played East to come away with a comfortable 5-0 win in the end.
East defender who got sent off was probably their best player before he lost the plot, The challenge was a shocker! Skinny Rick took it well though and got up to continue on without a problem. Thefact that the East player carried on a bit too much from an earlier tackle against him probably didn't do him any favours.
Anyway another 3 points to keep up up near the top and with 3 big league games coming up we will need to continue this form for 90mins not only 45.

Vale Scorers: Chris Nicholls 2 ( takes his tally to 11 ), TimCrawford 2 and Mick Hobbs 1

PS: East Boy - I enjoyed the banter mate, it helped me to lift my game !!
At the end of it all there will still be Football !!
It wasn't Bad but its Far from Good !

That dickhead that threw bottel isnt even a member and will be dealt with if he comes to any more games. Like you never wore any political symbols in the past when we played. If you looked closer that symbols on our shirt. Wear what you want its a free country.

Dont want to hijack forum if you have a problem with it PM me. Not a bad idea for ref bring it up with our club next time we meet. Anyway good luck for rest of season

Hosovac man, you seriously need to stop re-posting. I think everyones getting sick of you, and you pull on a whole act like it doesn’t mean anything to you that use lost and that Croatia is going to euro bla bla bla , well the amount of energy you’ve wasted posting on this matter shows that it means a lot too you. Grab some tissues and go cry about it some were else. The fact that you did make it to euro 08 doesn’t mean anything to us mate, we will still keep fighting, even though the odds are against us and UEFA is against us to make it, we will soon! Everybody knows we have the talent just need a better system. GO BOSNA FOR WC 2010!

Stop trying to make our fans look bad, when your fans just had no passion for their team. The reason why there was a bottle thrown (not saying it should’ve been thrown it was just one person who did it and he should be ashamed) was that your fat player was making some stupid remarks at the crowd I thought at least the players could show some professionalism. Also your number 8 who is a disgrace to your team should be ashamed, attacking one of our players on the pitch telling him F*** Muslims and abusing him physically and verbally for no reason what’s so ever, not to mention it was our smallest player on the field why doesn’t he pick on some his own size, tells you something doesn’t it. About the linesman, yeh he was bad at times but I’ve seen official linesman’s be worse than that, you got to stop trying to pick out stupid reasons for your loss, just get over it mate. Oh and the guy you said deserved to be sent off, no way! He just came on and it was his first tackle, plus your player was not going one on one he had other defenders 10 metres to the side of him who would have certainly caught him. A deserved yellow card it was. Some of your players deserved to be sent off, with dirty challenges! Especially to our number 3 smallest player on the field, just because his got some talent doesn’t mean use should target him that was disgraceful, especially your number 8.

The passion shown by the Bosnian crowd was awesome true spirit of Bosna! I’ve been to many of your super league games for raiders and you don’t even get a crowd like that in super league, show some spirit guys. Oh and also your players cant speak Croatian, one of them goes ‘jebem mater ti’ in the most aussie accent haha, it was funny to hear. Just a bunch of aussie/Croatians who have the Aussie spirit going haha but don’t have the true European spirit of football shown by the bosanaci. Thanks for the mess left after the game?? Haha what do you think the fans around the world kindly pick up their mess after the game LOL u got to be joking man another little thing you picked out Anything else you want to pick out?

To be honest I did think the Croatians could have deserved a draw, the opposition is always going to complain and make excuses but in the end Bosna won. It was good to still see the players shake hands at the end of the game. If you have some decency, you would stop arguing about this and let it go, I know I am =) See ya’ man Good luck to the rest of the season for both Raiders and the amateur team.

K man

Official linespeople & reserve ref would be great...would save any issues re: cheating & being biased. I'm all for paying half like I said.

In regards to the beret....of course it is a free country, but times have changed since pre 91 - would of been nice if we caught up with him as a person....not as a political symbol.

Jebiga, what can I say......I've got my political views you've got yours, lets hope the away fixture brings more good football.

P.S - I'll personally ensure we tidy up after ourselves.

Tackles flying left, right & centre but what else did we expect.
whats with the linesman excuses, 7 player "injury" excuses, Bosnian supporters excuses?? c'mon get a hold of your selfs. kick your ass now and will kick your ass again. that was some of the dirtiest play ive seen so far in the amateur league but what can u expect from croats that are losing on their ground.

atmosphere will be twice as worse at our home ground but lets hope u guys bring a better game to us than u did yesterday

Get over yourself Tuncay,

Dirty, don't think so..... Hard & honest tackling & running is what it's called.

The challenges that were mis-timed got punished with yellow cards.....It's not farken netball.

Anyway, we'll bring our game to the away fixture.....just control your mob & everything will be sweet.

Yeah i thought Andy was one of our best. He is old though and I think he was a bit cranky cos he missed out on his afternoon nap.
Young Alex had another great game i thought. Never stopped running and is fantastic on the ball in traffic.

I think i will just keep my mouth shut from now on!! You were having a shocker in the first half though. Then come out and do that!!

still unsure why i didn't get a run being the leading goalscoarer and all but hopefully i will get my chance in the return leg and hopefully i can give you a lil more trouble then te lads on sunday.
Are you in Stuey's bad book mate. Not getting a run at all when you are the leading goalscorer doesn't seem to make much sense. Maybe he is trying to tell you to keep quiet on the forum.

I dont think so, no honest coach would force the team to suffer on account of one bad players personal opinion. i have already discussed with the senior players of the club my comments on this forum and since then i have said nothing to get me in the bad books. personal vendetta? maybe....
family history? more likely....
make me work harder to prove him wrong? most certainly....
I will be back and he will regret not playing me this week, because every minute im on the park for the A's i will make the opposition work, and every chance i get.... i will score. im not going anywhere and by the end of the season i will make damn sure that with or without The Coach's help that Vista is a success!!
