What Happened between Florina and Gardens today ??

I think the league needs to have as part of their rules a minimum punishment for a crowd member(s) come onto the pitch and all clubs should be let known what that penalty will be..

Clubs also need to enforce a code of conduct of their own and be accountable for their own supporters

This is along the lines of what I was trying to say. I am not pointing my finger at either club over this just the problem. As you say if the club has a good reputation then clemancy should be taken into account but those clubs with a bad reputation should be hit harder. The problem is it needs to start now to get some sort of history and or stance to correct the small minority of problems which ruin the game.

I agree 100% this should all start at the club levels including the clubs taking a hard stance on racism etc, which I have witnessed at games including one against the gardens which I was appalled to see. No club or team should put up with that.

Its time clubs start inforcing their own codes of conduct (if they have them) instead of leaving it to the league..

so what has your club inforced on the other half a dozen of supporters who stormed the pitch..???

when a keeper is running around knocking our players out it will obviously incite anger

how can he knock out player(s) when he hit the instigator who elbowed and then was jumped by your supporters??

i didn't see any knocked out players only supporters stopping you from scoring an equaliser hence abandoned game and refs report not in favour of your team...

your keeper should be eating pies from your club van and watching from the side line for the rest of the season with that poor act he committed!!! it was a straight elbow to the back of the head, while the gardens player had his back turned and it happened right in front of the ref!!! whats sad is ur keeper supposibly only got 3 games for it??? pretty poor if you ask any 1!! FLORINA should show some balls and make an example and internally suspend him for longer or even tell him to take a walk further down the road to North Side Boxing!!!!

the only player that got chased was ur keeper after he started swinging rain makers at every 1!!! and actually gardens have, internally suspended a spectator for the rest of the year, without the league being involved,who was involved in the incident!!!! Im not playing the moral high ground game knob im just tellin you the deal!! and with the sean reynolds situation the ball was there for the taking 50 /50 shit happens!!!atleast the game was in motion and it was not an outburst strike to an oppostion player in the back of the head whilst not looking...

All hell breaks loose as 6 Gardens supporters run on to the park. The keeper is attacked and another Florina player is chased down the field. Referee has enough and calls the match off.

I'm sorry Gardens boys but I dont see what you have to complain about. What I wrote was a very brief description of what was on the referees match report.

In regards to Florina further punishing their keeper, they have. He has been told another incident like that will see him expelled from the club. He has also arrived at the club at 10am to set up the nets for the C's and worked on the BBQ in the caravan for two weeks. He has apologised to the committee, coach and players so yes maybe the league went light on him but I think the club has made him aware that his actions wont be tolerated.

I dont think Gardens had Chemical Brother do any of those things when he was suspended after been sent off during the West Beach game. Will Tapey get any further weeks after striking one of our players last week? I think not.

sounds like the keeper had a brain explosion. We've all done it. Violent Conduct is normally 3-5 weeks.

No excuse for spectators coming onto the pitch though. Got to laugh that comment coming from a Millwall fan.

Fair point and even then Florina boys would acknowledge that he should of got more. Doesn't mean the club should give him what he should of got.

Yeah I did see Tapeys and he got what he should of got. Disappointing cause Tapey is a class player. The goal he scored against us last year proves that.

When was the last time Gardens further disciplined a player? Since you think that Florina should, shouldn't you set the example?

As for the referees report, it would be the only unbiased opinion of whats happened. Ive had people from both clubs tell me their verisons. The referees is the only person there with no links to either club so I'll go by whats on there.

Still haven't heard what the club is doing about the 5 other supporters who ran on to the field either or would you like to leave that out of your arguement also?

At the end of the day, its done and dusted and each party got their penalty. Don't go throwing around comments that Florina got lucky when in reality you got lucky.
