there are players like ingahni (spelling?) everywhere in every league, torres is a good example in the EPL.
and i can garantee you the EPL has a brand new twist to it every game. its not always the same old stuff.
Italy is like that too, twists everyweek, but some borin games, happens everywhere. thats football!

milanista, if u said Seria A is most entertaining, why ppl choose EPL over seria A ?? Why the TV Coverage not airing the Seria A , instead they choose to airing 'less entertaining' football which is EPL ?? u knob
in 1990 ++ , most ppl in china prefer to watch seria a than epl , but since 2000 ++, the trend has changed .. they folllow epl and totally forgot bout seria a ...
it's just show that seria a is getting bored ... not only bored actually, some agenda like bribery, bombing, killing etc - it's all give italy football a bad bad name .. bye italy football ..

The violence didn't have anything to do with it, Italian football is still entertaining with more goals and blame Stefano Palazzi for the match fixing scandal, damn Inter president. But the Italians are yet still successful by winning the World Cup and Milan winning the Champions League this has restored more back into Italian football and if we keep winning major events like this then Italian football will restore it's popularity back in all parts of the world.ronaldo07 wrote:hey, it's not only in australia .. it's everywhere in the world except in italy ...Milanista #22 wrote:It's cause these Aussie pigs are racist pigs against Italians thats why they don't show it, they show GAYPL cause of all the Aussies abroad. So does that mean ur going to SHUT THE FUCK UP NOW?
I hate the argument about the EPL being so much more exciting than Serie A... it is exciting, don't get me wrong and I'm a Chelsea fan and also watch many other EPL games but Serie A will shock most of you if you decide to flick it on and catch a game...
Most weeks Inter are shown therefore I'm always watching SerieA - the amount of brilliant goals which are scored week in week out is unbelievable... each week during coverage when they flick to the goals scored around the country there are technically brilliant goals as well as rippers coming from around the league...
For the record im a fan of both leagues and IMO they both have individual strengths and weaknesses and there isn't much between them...
I seemed to have noticed on here that many of the opposers who seem to comment on Italian football/Serie A actually hate it - therefore I'm guessing you guys don't watch it? So you're comments may well be uneducated and ill-informed....
Whilst many of the people on here who are supporting SerieA have half decent knowledge of the EPL due to it's prolific coverage here, i'm interested to know how many of the EPL supporters on here regularly watch Serie A? Therefore allowing them to make educated comments about the league and not simply about the odd national team game they see Italy play every 2-3 years...

whatever soontwat Italian football is coming back, and it still hasn't faded yet and never will. It was good for the league that the Italians won the world cup. But who has been more successful in Europe for over 20 years thats right Milan. Serie A is going to kill EPL especially with all the new and upcoming players that are bursting through. like Lulinha to Fiorentina, Breno to Fiorentina, Pato to Milan, Dessena cleaning up at Parma, Chiellini playing quality football. The violence happened because the Ultras in different parts of Italy hate each other you dumb jackass, they don't hate each other for the sport they hate each other for the passion.ronaldo07 wrote:yeh only if ..

can't really compare Italy with the other leagues when you say 3 of the teams in the semi's where English. Juventus won the serie a the year before but didnt compete and Fiorentina had qualified for CL until the match fixing scandal. That an Italian team won the CL last season is a testiment to just how strong the serie a is.
All Milan winning shows is that the best team is Italian. The depth is clearly an unarguably in the premier league.
The stats for 2007 speak for themselves.
I can't believe you are still arguing it.
Did someone mention UEFA, I'm sure English teams would do well in that if they were only good enough to finish 3rd in the group.

that bolded comment there aint exactly true mate, EPL will be always be media dominated over serie A. i kno u mean in terms of skill, but with all the money and popularity being pumped into EPL its only a matter of years until EPL is the standout for all wanting young players.Milanista #22 wrote:whatever soontwat Italian football is coming back, and it still hasn't faded yet and never will. these Aussie pigs should do us a favour and show live Serie A games on fox sports and bring it back on ESPN now there is fuck all on ESPN besides Champions League. The EPL of course dominates the media but it's because our country is more English than Italian, when it should be multicultural.13_aliaksandr_hleb wrote:that bolded comment there aint exactly true mate, EPL will be always be media dominated over serie A. i kno u mean in terms of skill, but with all the money and popularity being pumped into EPL its only a matter of years until EPL is the standout for all wanting young players.Milanista #22 wrote:whatever soontwat Italian football is coming back, and it still hasn't faded yet and never will. yeh milan won the champion league last season, congrat .. but remember, 3 out of last 4 is from epl side ...
and what about the seria a team in uefa ?? lol .. that's a joke ..
i agree, in 1990++, seria a is more superior than epl .. but now, no way ... seria a has faded away .. they r a joke now ... and if u said violence has nothing to do with the league, i'm speechless
So stop bagging Serie A you ape piece of cabernet

i said 3 out of the last 4 are from english club .. i mean last 4 seminalist ...
The tv coverage here in malaysia did airing seria a week in and week out .. im not going to say i watch it regulary, but i will watch it when i place my bet on the team .. but no way it's as intresting as epl game .. it's get me bored ..

More of the country has an English background than Italian. Fox Sports is a business, they're going to show the games they can make the most money off.Milanista #22 wrote:these Aussie pigs should do us a favour and show live Serie A games on fox sports and bring it back on ESPN now there is shiraz all on ESPN besides Champions League. The EPL of course dominates the media but it's because our country is more English than Italian, when it should be multicultural.
Fox has no responsibility to be multicultural to australia, it has a responsibility to make money for the shareholders of news international.

and in malaysia, we neither have english or italian background .. but we still watch epl more than we watch seria a .. thx
As part of the commonwealth you have links to England than Italy. I'm sure all of the countries that are part of the Italian Empire show Seria A games and not the premier league.ronaldo07 wrote:the young school boy doesnt have any idea about it, pardon him ..Hawkesy wrote:More of the country has an English background than Italian. ffs, EPL is shown around the world because its marketed better, nothing more.
mate honestly I couldnt give a shit what chinese people watch. they only follow the trends and which league is fashionable at the time. Ask any asian who the best player in the world is and chances are they'll say either Beckham, Rooney or Cristiano. They dont know what good football is, they only believe what nike or adidas tell them.
if you think there is no corruption in England you must have your head up your ass, the english just haven't been busted over it.
I think you'll find that the top Serie B sides could realistically compete in A and have every chance of survival whereas you see that Watford and Derby were up shit creek without a paddle upon their arrival in the EPL.

so the unarguable depth is only four deep?Hawkesy wrote:All Milan winning shows is that the best team is Italian. The depth is clearly an unarguably in the premier league.
The stats for 2007 speak for themselves.
I can't believe you are still arguing it.
Did someone mention UEFA, I'm sure English teams would do well in that if they were only good enough to finish 3rd in the group.
Serie A sides don't play the UEFA cup since the new format, sides like Palermo, Empoli & Udinese play their fringe teams in order to push for CL or save relegation.
