Title bought and paid for, done and dusted.

ps, if the winners of div 2 (The Championship) are called the champions, should the winners of the EPL (English Premier League) be called the premiers? Or is that aussiefooty-speak?

Pepe Mel sacked as Manager of West Brom.

Becomes the 11th (!) EPL manager to be sacked this season. Eleven and counting....

Mers will have an opinion if Lambert @ Villa is another in the firing line, especially now that there will be a new owner of the Club with the previous Yank one selling up.

Steve Bruce, Sam Allardyce & Allan Pardew might be looking over their shoulder too.

The previous record of 9 sackings in season 95/96 has been absolutely eclipsed and the saying that there are 2 types of managers - (those sacked & those waiting to be sacked) was never truer.

WTF??? Are you high?

Bruce has kept them in the Premier League and gotten them to an FA Cup final.

Bruce would very safe as he has taken them to 16th and an FA Cup Final, here's hoping they beat the Gunners.

Yeah, but 16th position isn't that good, ozzie owl.

And it's hard to tell with some of these moody millionaire owners like Hull's.

Let's see after the Cup Final. Arsenal welcome Wilshere back from injury, and he will be in a top mindset too after making the England squad. If that Arsenal midfield of Arteta, Cazorla, Ozil, Ramsey & Wishere get their fluid passing game going Hull might be in real trouble.

ps, forgot to mention a few others in the firing line - Sherwood, Adams & Solskjaer. And I struggle to remember any Chelsea manager who survived after going trophyless. Who can tell what is on that billionaire Russian oligarch's mind?

Tim Sherwood sacked. He becomes the 12th EPL manager given the boot.

Big Sam Allardyce remains in the firing line.

He was always going to be a stop gap. Employ the club "legend" for 6 months, then get a real manager in.

Great season all up for the gunners, improved even.
Only two days since we last won a major trophy, in the champions league, about 3 months at top of premier league 2013/2014, great youngsters pushing through and just a couple of key signings (and luck with injuries) from a real quality squad for 2014/2015. My hangover is gone and life is good, roll on the world cup.

Yaya Toure is reportedly upset that his billionaire club owners didn't wish him a happy birthday.

I hope A$400,000 pay per week might sooth the 'hurt' Yaya's feelings.

Same here, Derek. You could just picture the lumbering multi-millionaire Yaya Toure sooking with bottom lip trembling.

Talking 'bout sooking - I'm having a bit of a sulk too 'cause GMAE (aka GIAE) and some of his forumite mates haven't wished me a happy name day. Today, the 21st May is Saint Constantine the Great day.

He was Serbian, not Greek.
