Another shit performance for the Lane faithful to enjoy, our entire midfield was rubbish, Woodgate was rubbish, Corluka was rubbish, Gunter....hes seriously a piece of shit and Bale was arite.

Pav and Campbell were there but not causing ny trouble. In fairness we were unlucky coz we had a fair few chances, 10 shots on goal, Woodgate hit the post, Bale hit the post, Bent missed open goal and Bale just missed that free kick on the final whistle.

We had so many poor passes in that match, Modric was as usual rather poor, Jenas had a really off day.

Stoke next week, cant wait to get done by a Rory Delap throw!

Spurs are one of those clubs that just cant seem to get it right. They spend big on players but dont seem to settle on a starting line up and dont have the patience to develop a team. From watching some of their games I dont like Poyet as assistant coach either. He seems to want to run the show and piss in Ramos' ear too much. Ramos did well in Spain so I think he is still the man for the job.

Look how long it has taken for Rafa to get a sniff in the EPL, and he still probably wont get close this season anyway! Then you look at someone like Mourinho, came in straight in from the Portugese league, which is not of the saem level as Spain. Some managers adapt well, some don't. Similiar to how players adapt/dont adapt.

It's a myth that they have improved the squad this season! Poyet should know the English game! It's as much about Man Management as anything these days. Rafa can't compete cause he can't spend 40million a year like the top 2.

Never really thought we had improved the squad, when you lose players like Berbatov and Keane u cant improve, not to mention Malbranque, he was a fuckin gun, why we let him go i have no clue. He was always there, always willing to put his body in and always put in a good shift. The rest are no loss.

Its not looking good guys im worried, it all started with those two twats Commolli and Levy they have ruined the club getting rid of Jol after he got us finishing 5th two years in a row which is our highest finish ever it just doesnt make sense and then to blow 77 million on players that are average at best Modric is fucking terrible what a waste of money he is same with Bent, i would have prefer to sign Romario then Pav oh and by the way hes out for 3 weeks but thank god we have quality replacements in the striking department, Campbells a joke to young and his comments in the transfer window really sums him up, Gomes is worse than Robinson i didnt think that was possible, the 546 turns corners better than Corluka he looks so sluggish, King really needs to start playing every game, Bales been excellent Gunther is solid and will improve with time Woodgates been disappointing but it doesnt help when theres a new face next to you every game Gio looks ok but a little young i love his runs needs to start doing it more Lennons improved alot but i would like him to have an impact like the way Young does for Villa similar players skillful, lightning quick. Zokoras been ok needs to start snapping some cunts in the midfield though

I cant agree with you on some thing, but do with others. I still have a little faith that in time and in a proper team with good chemistry the likes of Modric and Pavlyuchenko will begin to play better. I think Bale is great while Gunter is rubbish, from what i have seen this season and last he gets caught out and defends rather poorly, cant wait for Hutton to return because he is a quality right back.

Things only get worse after this Uefa Cup group stage, i dont think there is any way possible for us to make it out unless a miracle occurs and the team turns it around. Udinese, Zagreb, Spartak and NEC are gonna be really tough especially on the away legs. With only Campbell and Bent to play up front, we dont have any striker power at all and its really showing.

Champ, i pretty much agree with nothing in your post so ill start from the top.
Jol's run of form before he got sacked was terrible, not unlike Ramos's current one, so im guessing you were calling for his head as well d (I dont think either of them should have or be sacked) and just so we dont get too deluded we were easily the 5th best team one year, the next year we sold our most influential player, i.e. Carrick and we only came 5th on the last day of the season and was no where near breaking the top four.
We 'Blow' 77 Million on players because our best players want to leave and play for better champions league clubs, we came in about even this window. Campbell only came here cause we couldn't get Asharvin, Garcia, Milito or whoever else we were supposed to get, penny pinching for Berba cost us big time.
Corluka is head and houlders above Dawson. King will never play every game, he shouldn't be captain and he should only be brought into the Uefa games so that Woody and Corluka can gain some consistancy.
Woodgate didn't play well on the weekend but he has pretty much been our best player so far this season, im not sure what games your watching. Gomes worst than Robinson?? some ppl have really short memories.
Lennon was at this best two years ago, he was bad last year and has got a little better this year, he still cant cross, it amazes me how a professional footballer onthe brink of the national team who obviously needs to practise practise practise his crossing is still bad, maybe its not his fault he has never really looked like a really good naturally gifted footballer, he just has pace to burn I hate to say it but Walnut from the woolwich wanderers looks twice as good as Lennon.
I think we will eventually come good, i certainly hope we do, I can see us spending that Berba money in january on a forward or two (Heskey and Owen? maybe Asharvin), possibly selling Bent and hopefully splurging on someone like Barry.

Without Keane we have lost not only a great player but also a leader and a talisman of the club, Keane was a massive influence both on and off the park for the club and player. By losing him, we have lost the glue that held us together, i dont think King is a good enough leader and shouldnt be captain, same with Jenas. Jenas is too hot and cold, some games he playes brilliant others you wonder why he's even on the pitch. I think maybe woodgate would be a good choice.

There are some very good teams in the UEFA Cup this year. There are lots of teams that are doing well in their leagues at the moment like Hamburg, Valencia and Udinese. It will always be the case though that there are players rested for these games. It seems funny, everyone spends a season trying to get into Europe (OK, for some it is the poor consolation prize) and then when they are in it they play reserve teams and moan about too many games (Harry Redknapp at Portsmouth!)... On the flip side you get Spurs who are awful and bottom of the Premiership but who play the one-game-a-week Ledley King in UEFA qualifying matches but not in the league????!!! Madness...
