Considering the convict who were brought here were english then as i stated no confusion for me.
And they became the australian nation. I'm not surprised you're "confused", I'd be ashamed if my nation was just the prison of another nation.
So a bunch of english convict, glad you agree.
When did I agree?
They became the australian nation and became known as the convicts. Surely you POHMs can work this out.
They all started out as english when they were convicts, and considering the next generation would also be english too according to your previous statements on the matter, once they were Australian they were no longer convicts.
Nice try but the english were the convicts not the Australians. Its funny how you lot ignore those facts.
As an Australian i myself am not a convict so once again you are wrong.
Edit - looks like there are many other facts that back me up as well.
english = convicts. Simple facts are fun
The English bought over convicts then murdered the occupants of the land when they arrived ....
How can you live on stolen land? Don't you feel guilty about it?

It took England one day to score more runs that australia declared for on day 4. Many on here have moaned on here about low scoring rates. Do they have any comments now?

Result pitch at least. Saffers have a decent pace attack, therefore seems like no advantage either way, other than maybe winning the toss.
The pitch had a distinct advantage to australia. They've had a few tests this "summer" already going against a team with practically no time in the middle. A doctored bowling wicket definitely hands them an advantage.
34 wickets in under 2 days isn't good for anyone.
However, for the record. Australia are the home team. They produce the wocket that they want. It's called home advantage.
My issue is just that when other countries do the same, they complain it's doctoring.
Fiction. Saffers quick bowlers are probably their best weapon. That said curator said he erred in making it too green, but a simple coin toss could have changed the result of this game.
So, it's fiction that the aussies have played a few test matches in australia this summer and the s affers haven't?
No, it is fiction that the pitch had a distinct advantage to Australia.
Now can you tell me when a visiting nation has EVER played some test matches in that country before playing the home side?
1912
thanks, shows my point quite well.

The point is that australia had had many opportunities for time in the middle, SA hadn't. A doctored bowling wicket helps the team who've had more time in the middle.

So next ashes series here, you want some
test matches to be played here before the ashes actually commence? Will that make it fairer? You tour, you get a practice match or two and that's it nowadays. Suck it up.
As for doctored wicket........said before.........had SA won the toss the result could have been different.
Bottom line they were comprehensively outplayed

It would be lovely to have some test matches here before hand. Can't see it happening though.
No, SA would have been rolled easily because it was a bowling track and they'd had little/no time in the middle. One game against a joke PM XI is not a decent warm up. As you have said, you get a couple of practice matches nowadays. you used to get 4 or 5. Makes sense to produce a bowling track if you've had plenty of time in the middle and they haven't.
It's funny that you seem to think that all countries doctor wickets apart from your own.

I have never said all countries doctor pitches. All our pitches are reasonably different, which is more than can be said in many other countries.
I will say it, ALL countries doctor pitches.
Your pitches are pretty much the same now.
So tell me do our pitches favour batsmen, quicks, or spinners? Just trying to work out how well we are doctoring them to favour us so much.
