Don't you mean some tossers who's opinion doesn't please us??Irishglover wrote:There really are some tossers here whose opinion is better kept to themselves. There's been more evidence this week with young stars (another team closely affiliated with maiwand) of violence and threatening behaviour towards a referee. After 2 sendings off the referee cancelled the game because he feared for his safety and once he took cover in the changing facilities was chased by a player with a pole. Surely you can't condone or believe any opposition should have to out up with such behaviour as well as the referee.
And to mention an earlier point raised we have already said we all not be playing the return fixture regardless of how the club is doing regarding league position, whether that involves promotion or relegation remains to be seen. It should be noted that we are due to play again in the second to last game of the season so such a scenario arising is a distinct possibility
And YES I agree something needs to be done about it but I don't agree that one club choosing not to play against them is sufficient or proactive. It will merely create more hostilities between the offending clubs and everyone else through ' they all hate us' syndrome so we'll do what we like. The league needs to ban individual players for life to eliminate them and not the club as you all know they will just reappear and on we go. The race and country of origin thing is a load of krap as I know that they can cause trouble at any club they choose to go to in herds. Seaford chose not to play because of a handful of players who might or might not have been involved in the atrocious behaviour of a few years ago. If they weren't then they are now offside as well and nothing gained.
My discussion was not ill intended towards the Seaford Club but all for one works but one for all doesn't.
Please note that no one was physically hurt or hospitalised as a result of this discussion.

Seriously this goes back to that kick violence out of sport thing. Im sorry but what a flop that was and I got crucified for saying it. The point is I understand Seaford's and every other club's/referees concerns with this however one club making a stance is like a drop in the ocean - zero effect. You need a Tsunami so if every club next year said to the league we are not registering a team until this is sorted I assure you it would be resolved in a week! That was my only point.

The anal lick is a Hazara training drill and is preferred to the stinky finger approach which has been so widely advertised on this forum in recent times. I think they have adopted a new approach.

Re: Seaford vs Ghan (Maywand) Sun 16 Jun
I have absolutely no problem with people expressing their opinion. If you thought we should have played that's fair enough but when you start throwing the racism card around and we didnt play because their not 'fair skinned' or will only play against fair skinned teams then I take exception to it as that is part of the problem which creates the us against them mentality you mentioned.Between the Sticks wrote:Don't you mean some tossers who's opinion doesn't please us??Irishglover wrote:There really are some tossers here whose opinion is better kept to themselves. It's amateur football and the majority of people are there to enjoy themselves socially and not have to worry for their safety. Whether treats to safety may come from the opposition, supports of the club on the sideline or idiots who just show up for a scrap the risk of such an occurance was deemed to high. There has been instances of this teams poor conduct already this season which have been pointed out numerous times already so all I can say is good luck to everyone who does play them or young stars of hazara and has to deal with fingers up the bum and other disgraceful carry on. Hopefully this is a flag to the league and they start to look into it more and realise simply banning a club is t enough when they can come back next year under a new name. The offending individuals need to be banned from taking part at all in the league because I am sure there are players on their own teams who also want nothing more than an enjoyable game of football on a Sunday

Irish sadly it is a race thing and that's where it gets tricky when trying to do something about it. Again if the entire competition commits to action and pressure the league by refusing to register in 2014 until reasonable measures are put in place to prevent these occurrences or rid us of the individuals involved not much will happen.

Re: Seaford vs Ghan (Maywand) Sun 16 Jun
ok so where does the blame lie with all this schemozzel. the govt who gives the league money to set up these types of clubs. the league who want the the money so bad that they are prepared to sell their collective souls for it and turn a blind eye for as long as they are allowed to. the law because trying to deal with these people is far too difficult for them because they quickly jump up and down, play the race card etc and it all goes in the too hard basket. they then have to blame someone to appear to be proactive so its the other clubs they come down on. note, no govt ever gave the league money to establish italian, greek, pommy and croatian teams to my knowledge so WHY are these people being treated so differently and so softly????????. finaly. seaford. having had our previous experience to remind us took the prudent option and canned the game. we know it shouldent be like this but unfortunately it is at this point in time and until the powers that be start doing their job things wont change in fact things will only get worse because non action will be seen as more weakness. ![Sad :(](./images/smilies/icon_sad.gif)

Re: Seaford vs Ghan (Maywand) Sun 16 Jun
I have to say that whilst I don't agree with the way some of the opinions have been expressed on this matter, I understand and empathise with the feelings.
As a club president of on the leagues younger and smaller clubs; If our club were presented with the same set of circumstances (as I am led to believe them) then we would not have contested the match. It is far more important that we all get home to see our families after the game and to work on Mondays.
It seems to me that there is a fair bit of ill feeling aimed toward 3 clubs at the moment (rightly or wrongly, i do not know). I am sure the league and possibly the authorities will be reading this thread with interest.

Re: Seaford vs Ghan (Maywand) Sun 16 Jun
its not just about football, thats only a very small part of a much bigger problem and while govts turn a blind eye because its easier to do so the situation by their inaction only gets worse. until the powers that be realise these people are NOT your average immigrant. they see themselves as crusaders in reverse. iam sick of all this rubbish. when i was a kid trespassers were prosecuted and that is exactly what they are and should treated as such. refugees, boat people seeking a better life poor little buggers the do gooders bleat does not cut it for me simply because they are not gratefull when they get here. they all have chips on both shoulders and want to change our way of life to theirs. in conclusion. such a pity we could not have a churchill or a thatcher instead of a rudd or an abbott who wont do anything except make themselves personaly richer. ok thats my beech for the day, thanks for reading.

Adelaide young stars are mawaind. They were the mawaind jerseys in there games. Are there players from this team in Ghan? Ghan last year were agwilla and a all African team with a couple extras.
Re: Seaford vs Ghan (Maywand) Sun 16 Jun
Aguila are/were a Salvadorian team, just happened that some of the old maiwand players had no where to go so they scattered around struggling clubs looking for players.... lets not get Aguila mixed up in all this the wrong way i know a few great people at that club...Wrighty_cp wrote:Adelaide young stars are mawaind. Just my opinion ... and it's none of my business ... but 'Between the Sticks' seems like a complete knob.
(You've only got 3 to go now.
)
Let's not take up some idiotic individuals and brand a whole race or religion with their faults. I actually agree with ONE of BTS's points - ban the individuals involved from registering with SAASL for (up to) life. Unfortunately in our increasingly litigious culture they'd probably take the league to court and it would be too hard and too costly to prove it in law.

Aguila means eagle in spanish... deffinetly a salvadorian club at least started out as that anyway... i went to high school with a lot of the latinos that were part of the club, they might have had a lot of nationalities playing recently though...Adolf Hītler wrote:Short for Ghana?Wrighty_cp wrote:Aguila def African played in there division for the last 3 years, was confused cause I was told they changed name to Ghan.
Ghan is Afghan... Like the train, short for Afghan Express....
