Good hit out at the Downs today....some of the Knights lads put in well playing 2 full games to cover a shortage of players. Think it was 2 or 3 nil before the soft send-off....think sometimes frustration is perceived as dissent.

Reserves game was Downs 3 Southern Knights 6 ( or 7 ) with Sam Ferguson bagging a hat-trick in his first outing for Knights since pre-season 2011 ...so plenty of entertainment for all.
Good bit of banter going around.

Okello was #23, Kanga might have been #11 (he was premier league player of 2012). Two great lads!

Probably Right, just before Nathan's free kick that Stephen Maguire did exceptionally well to pluck out of the top right hand corner only to see the Downs follow up quicker and slot away. I think the one man advantage was counteracted by the exhaustion of some of the Knights lads who had double shifts on the day...made for some slightly late challenges, not malicious...just late. But as I said, a good work out....didn't leave until after midnight...thanks again.
