Good hit out at the Downs today....some of the Knights lads put in well playing 2 full games to cover a shortage of players. Think it was 2 or 3 nil before the soft send-off....think sometimes frustration is perceived as dissent.BowTiesAreCool wrote:Downs 6-2 Southern Knights.
Downs a man down for most of the game.

Is that the number 23, very quick and skillful!!!!Fresh Football wrote:Fresh Football wrote:A's

Okello was #23, Kanga might have been #11 (he was premier league player of 2012). Two great lads!KEANO16 wrote:Is that the number 23, very quick and skillful!!!!Fresh Football wrote:Fresh Football wrote:A's

It was only 1-0 when the red card was shown actually! We scored very quickly after it though.swannsong wrote:Good hit out at the Downs today....some of the Knights lads put in well playing 2 full games to cover a shortage of players. Reserves game was Downs 3 Southern Knights 6 ( or 7 ) with Sam Ferguson bagging a hat-trick in his first outing for Knights since pre-season 2011 ...so plenty of entertainment for all.
Good bit of banter going around.

Probably Right, just before Nathan's free kick that Stephen Maguire did exceptionally well to pluck out of the top right hand corner only to see the Downs follow up quicker and slot away. I think the one man advantage was counteracted by the exhaustion of some of the Knights lads who had double shifts on the day...made for some slightly late challenges, not malicious...just late. But as I said, a good work out....didn't leave until after midnight...thanks again.BowTiesAreCool wrote:It was only 1-0 when the red card was shown actually! agree with that! you don't see them too oftenBowTiesAreCool wrote:Yeah it was a fair effort on the part of the lads that played twice. Think the game was played in good spirit too.
Oh and Nath's goal in the second half is worth a mention...Worldie!
