NO team will get the points, so in essence, its like the game never existed
Below is why the game got called off. Still amazes me how this was deemed null and void, effectively blaming RBE for the incident.
Both teams left scratching thier heads when the game was called off.

Happened twice in my time, both for 'foul and abusive language.Steve#6 wrote:Pretty ordinary if the Ref did falsify his report....
First one - Player was sent off for "what about down the other fucking end?". Referee report said the player was continually swearing and spat at him as he walked off the pitch. Player had simply turned around and walked off pitch. We appealed, got thrown out.
Second one - Player was sent off for "you've got to be fucking kidding me?". Referee report said the player had racially abused him. We appealed, appeal was upheld but ban of two games was given for foul and abusive language, original ban notice said TBD.

I remember the second one, who was the 1st?
Interesting with the second that the league even asked us to lodge a compaint about the ref as he'd tried that one on before.

Re: Hahndorf vs Redblue Eagles result?
I feel you Cantona.7 and the club, you play and coach the game with a lot of passion. Some people on here are confusing the issue ? You accepted reponsibility for your actions, it is why the game was called off that has most of us baffled ? Then the game to null and void must be a first, I dont ever recall that happening before in this league ?
If both clubs feel, whatever the score was when the game was called off, that the result should stand, and put in writing and submit it to the league, surely the league would have to consider it ? ( I'm no lawyer just putting it out there )
What have you got to lose by trying ?
I was playing for Brahma Lodge in the mid 80's Barrie Cook was coaching, were were playing Campbelltown amateurs at Newton, ( div 3 ) early in the season. We were 2-0 up at halftime, they had a player sent off during the first half, and a few others on yellow cards. While Bazza was giving us our h/t talk, one of our committee members, comes in and said the game has been called off ?
Allegedly, during he half time break, the player who was sent off entered the referees room and allegedly started to abuse and threaten him.
Briefly - both clubs were fined for not providing adequate protection for the referee ( other words there no white coats there ) game was replayed, at the end of the season, at the Paddocks, which we won 2-1. We were stunned, we didnt even have anyone on a yellow card ?
And you know, the only bloke from their club that offered an apology, probably their best player, guy named Maurice Natale ( now involved in ffsa somewhere )takes courage to do that when you dont have the support of your team mates, and I have always respected him for that.
You still have a lot to offer as a player, keep playing if the passion is still there. Good Luck .

If they know a ref isnt being honest, why is he allowed to continue? Honesty is no1 trait for a ref I would have thought.God is an Englishman wrote:Dickie Knee wrote:Happened twice in my time, both for 'foul and abusive language.Steve#6 wrote:Pretty ordinary if the Ref did falsify his report....

They needed sthe formal compaint in order to do something about it. If a referees ies in his report, could you sue for defamation!
