Re: Cup Round 1
Pretty strong opinions about a junior keeper and calling a 14 year old boy a tool is a bit far don't you think! Some of you blokes should take a real hard look at yourselves.
Re: Cup Round 1
some of the comments on here about a 14 yr old kid is unbelievable.... he has his issues but as i said earlier i hope some people try to help him sort out his issues and stop this behaviour, i have seen parents who act WAY WORSE and nobody says anything about that....

I beg your pardon ..!! One edit was for spelling mistake - the next edit I decided to remove my post as didnt want to get involved in that topic anymore.spooky1972 wrote:Last edited by Sacred Noodle on Mon Apr 23, 2012 1:31 pm, edited 2 times in total.
Yeah I'm thinking good move noodle, best to hide that comment
Was nothing wrong with what I posted in fact if you read it properly who would have realised I was inferring that there may be some grounds for concession and understanding for the boys actions..! - As the 'one' time I saw the boy play at a game I was only intemittantly watching I was a little blown by a bit of some of onlfield actions - it was suggested there 'may' be more to it I had a little more reason for understanding and kindve acceptance of it ... as was relayed in my post..! ... that being said if another player was seriously injured by any over the top action .. it obviously wouldnt be good thing ps edited due to spelling mistake and word left out!!

Re: Cup Round 1
We all need to conduct ourselves properly & provide a good example to the kids.
Players , coaches , parents etc that need help due to behavioural issues should be identified by their club & assistance rendered.
But not all clubs have this facility I fear.

Re: Cup Round 1
I have factual information as to what occured at West adelaide during the cup round on the weekend . It all started with a small disagreement over easter eggs . then it turned into a huge fight with 300 peolple getting involved . Cops were called children were crying , women watched as their husbands were dragged kicking and screaming into the back of a paddy wagon . The big guy in the Canteen was giving away shaslicks and the greek band kept playing through out all of this . Then then the Greek Easter bunny took out the other Easter bunny . I here the committee called in a cleanser and has had all the bad Kharmas removed so now its back to games as usual for them . Any other questions ?????

No people like you look for stuff to gossip about on forums
Who cares what happened at West Adelaides ground .
Obviously you do cos you couldnt wait to read it and then comment
I sure as heck do not .
If everyone is that interested shouldn't be to hard to find the number to call on their website and get all the juicy goss.
Ps Greek Easter bunny is fine . should see the other one not so good. All Involved are out on bail bla bla bla
And i reckon they will still have shaslicks and those Greek sausages OPAHHHHH

Re: Cup Round 1
forums are all about reading and commenting,
i do care about what happened at west adelaide as i have many friends down there that have been affected by this, on top of that a client whos involved at adelaide city mentioned to me what he thought happened.... i didnt make any negative comments and didnt mention names....
i guess you have a choice whether you want to read the so called "goss", if you dont dont come on here....
anyway great to see all your 3 posts are all very informative and intelligent

great to see your the only one commenting on non informative posts
Slow day at the office i am guessing ...
And all i was saying was that everyone is on here trying to find out what happened
A) who cares
B) if you have many so called friends at west Adelaide you would know what happened ... nothing
C) so exactly what do you care about? and who has been affected by what . Was their a Tsunami ? Has the club been washed away.?
D) Lighten up
E) I never said you made any derogative comments
F) if all your worried about is your "friends " at West Adelaide then you need to get a life ... I am sure they are fine
G) Seriously i am going to the shop . Do you want me to buy you a personalty and a sense of humour .

Re: Cup Round 1
Heard there was a bit of a scuffle after the Adelaide City U15 vs Adelaide Blue Eagles U15 in the cup. A couple of players and coaches going to tribunal because of separate incidents that unraveled after the game. Anyone know anything about this?

Re: Cup Round 1
well said. Ive been to watch a couple of their games as I'm quite good friends with the Playford senior player coaching them. I actually witnessed the incident in the Manchester Cup vs West Adelaide, and spoke in length to the coach in regards to the player. He summed it up perfectly 'They're young men playing a highly emotional game, and at times they lack the maturity to deal with these emotions and are more susceptible to outbursts. Grown men playing the sport professionally for years still do stupid things they regret on the football pitch..'. Having said that he also pointed out to the lad the repercussions of his anger, and the effect it can have on his team.rossonero wrote:some of the comments on here about a 14 yr old kid is unbelievable.... he has his issues but as i said earlier i hope some people try to help him sort out his issues and stop this behaviour, i have seen parents who act WAY WORSE and nobody says anything about that....
Obviously the kid has had another outburst, but from my reports it was an unfortunate mistake in the last minute of extra time that led to the outburst. Most people would be angry and upset, lets give the kid some slack, he is only 14 after all. As for the foul language in front of younger kids, im sure they've heard far worst come out of their parents mouth sitting on the sidelines.
