Suarez was harshly teated, this hasnt helped us in recent weeks, AC is struggling hence why we are drawing so many. UTD have as big as failure at the other end of the pitch...a keeper who is not up to the hype. It doesn't matter who the manager is, hefty sums wasted are common. Torres at Chelsea is another.

We are not doing as well as we would like, but that's life.

Kenny has had a good 13 months, with a few dips, all managers/teams suffer these.

I hate using this card as its not many on here's fault that they can't get to Wembley, but if we get to Wembley in the Carling Cup it would be immense, Cup Finals and winning comps is what football is all about. 2nd, 3rd,4th and CL qualification is all second rate compared to actually winning something.

So knock Kenny all you like, we are better than we were last year, Man Utd aren't.......
Please don't try and compare Andy Carroll to De Gea. The keeper will be just fine. His season has been okay apart from a dodgy start. Clutching at straws again there I think. The other lad Lindergaard deserves a run in the team now. De Gea will be the Spanish first choice keeper for years unlike Reina!

And I actually think we are better than last year, we've just had terrible luck with injuries. We've got more points than at this stage last season but we lie 2nd in the table due to the emergence of Man City.

So you are better than last year? Remind me again where you ended up on the ladder last term.

derrrrrrr...

This time last year you were top, we were 10th.
One year on, same match day, you’re 2nd and we’re 7th.

I have always (try and prove otherwise) wanted to win EVERY cup each year. Winning at Wembley is greater than a CL final loss!

You were seventh in january last season. Thats a massive improvement from you guys this time around isn't it?

We're pretty much where we were this time last year. With the injuries we've had it's a pretty good achievement I think.

Not sure why you’re getting your knickers in a knot. At this same point last year, you’re 1 spot lower and we're 3 spots higher.
That’s not a matter of opinion, it’s fact.

We were 11th a year ago today. Out of the Carling Cup, lost at home to Northampton. Out of the FA Cup - lost in the 3rd round.

This year we are in the Carling Cup semi final and looking forward to a 4th round FA Cup game.

FACTS don't lie.

FACTS dont lie

If we are looking after 22 games we were 13th.

And today is the 25th not 26th FWIW.

So we agree that at the end of January 2011 (after victory on the 26th) Liverpool FC were 7th in the EPL?

Kop, don't start clutching straws like my foe here. You're splitting hairs here, Your league position is pretty much no different to what it was last year.

That’s some wicked backtracking!

Don’t mean to split hairs, but end of Jan how many games were played to date in the league last year compared to this.

So we’re apparently worse off despite having more points from less games…….Logic is the big winner her ladies and gents.

Now is this the part where I say Liverpool were above Man U and Man City for half of August!!!
And are every year.

When did I or anyone say Liverpool were worse off than last year. Just pointing out that my foe's claim that you had improved on last year wasn't true.

If we win our next game we could be 5th, 3 points off 4th but that's all ifs. I am looking at facts, like on like.

Currently we are way better off than last year in date terms and games played.

You fail on all counts, as usual, your manc friends aren't joining in either as they are too embarassed to be seen with you in a losing battle.

The backtrack goes round the other half-circle. So were back to square one now.

OK.
Liverpool have not improved despite being higher than last year with more points from less games in the league and still in two comps they were knocked out of last year.

But Man U have improved, despite being 2nd as opposed to 1st last year in the league, being knocked out of the Champions League despite making it to the final last year and knocked out of the league cup by a team a div lower.

Can’t argue with that I guess……

unlike urself and N.Tanner, as well as some other scousers, U were ridiculing Man Utd winning it couple yrs ago, and yet now thats all u have to win this year.

Which is not last year, is it?

But in the same post you try and rub it in how no one really gives a toss about it.

Not deflecting, just saying........
