I'm thinking I'd be very worried about the DOWNS trip to FULHAM next Sunday Lippy, that would be an Absolute Disaster if DOWNS didn't get the chocolates !!!!

The problem is lippy Motts needs the the cattle to be able to change it & besides DAY, FUDA & ALDRIGE the DOWNS are AVERAGE...

Yes Nugget i have watched a few games lately of the Downs against West Beach where i have to admit they looked ordinary...then against Gardens which was probably a good result in the end.
The Cup result on the wkend didn't surprise me to be honest they aren't playing that well...They do have the players so i expect Motts to turn it around.

Downs get a draw away to Gardens and only have three decent players? How does that work Nuggett?
To be fair Macedonia looked very strong and were very committed and played a dangerous game letting Downs come at them all day but rode their luck playing that kind of game and triumphed. Fully deserving of the victory and will trouble many teams this season and wouldn't be a surprise seeing more Downs-Macedonia games next season. The boys in red done very well and should be congratulated as many of us from Argana Park did by going in, having a drink and congratulating them - this is Sunday Amateur football after all and we all have to go to work the next day and we don't take it as seriously as what caused the unsavoury reports of another game at the weekend.
