Would that be dependant on no teams in the higher divisions either dropping out, switching to Collegiate,or amalgamating ? Hasnt there been a team that finished 3rd / 4th, and still got promoted before ? I would think that all teams will want to finish as high as they can,and see what happens from there?
No. You can't have two first/reserve combination from the same club in the same division. If Flinders (Div 3) are not promoted, then Flinders (2) are ineligible to be promoted regardless of where they finish. If they finish top two, then third place will be promoted. If a team in Div 3 or dropping down from Div 2 folds, it would make no difference unless Flinders (Div 3) were promoted or relegated as a result.

Sorry, i was referring to if a team or two in div 1or div 2 folding ,amalgamating, switching over, then they would need to promote extra teams from div three, isnt that how Cougars got into div 2 ( please correct me if I am wrong, and nothing against Cougars, just as an example )? has happened before in Sunday Leagues as well.
I agree that it will be tough for Flinders to finish in the top 3of div 3 (cant see a team finishing 4th getting promoted this way )hence the div 4 will remain, you just never know with some clubs.

Yeah same principle, it's all dependent on Flinders (Div 3) being promoted, which at the moment (based on table position and results) appears unlikely, but there's still 6 rounds left in that division so anything is possible.

What it means is that as long as RBE and OISC (2) in Division 4 can position themselves in the Top 3 (and not let Brahma Lodge catch them), then they should be promoted.

Wiping out all results is stupid. They played a full half season, every team once. All those results should count. Second half of season should be zero points or 3 points for all teams. Expunging all results means teams are affected, including title and promotion chances for some teams, all because 1 club coudnt get their cabernet together. Why should some teams benefit and other teams suffer. No team should be affected by this in any way. Poor decision
some teams have played them at home and some away, so that would not be fair.
Things I am owed because they're too tight to pay up:

Oh and add in

What if a team pulled the pin, say with 3 games to go? Is there a set period in which everything is expunged as opposed to just treating so many games as forfeits?

this happened a few seasons back when black eagles were kicked out of the league. all results were expunged and because of that the promotion/relegation teams were changed. teams should know if they have enough players to fill a team, if you dont then dont enter a team.
Croatia last year were Sun div 3, this year they didnt think they could field a full B grade team every week and therefore have been put into Div 6. thats a fair thing to the other clubs, these other mobs should give the same consideration.

I understand that but i'm talking about common ground here. ALL teams have played them once, 1st round should stay as is. That is the fairest way of doing it

Your club have been effected by this the worst, I dont think its fair they lost clear top spot due to a teams incompetance
