to be a gracious winner is as important as being a gracious looser. Golders has no idea, got in the big mans face after the final whistle and got what he derserved. Gardens dererved the win golders earned his bitch slap. There were a few code of conduct issues arising from the game which will be dealt with and was not just from our side, Gardens bench was very vocal to our supporters. On a day where two junior teams and parents were attending the comments and language from the Gardens bench was vile.

from the outside both the downs are gardens look to be letting themselves down!! gardens look like they can't win and leave it there as some blokes just have to step over the line. Also sounds like no respect with their language with children around... and downs coach physically abusing a gardens player for giving it to him.

both clubs need to step up to the plate and provide the culprits with sanctions for their behaviour as it is the div 1 clubs who need to set the standards for the rest of the league.

At the end of the day this is social soccer (and we all like to win) but this is not our careers!!

In saying that we do abide by a code of conduct and all incidents will be accessed and acted upon. a fairly inaccurate description of the event, but i think all parties involved have moved on. anyway that was a minor incident in what was a great game and day as it all ways is when the downs visit.

I cant believe that people say that during a game in which he had just played and won that people come on here and say Golder this Golder that, he shouldnt gob off or slur during a game and especially after it etc etc.

What may or may not have been said last Sunday was between (a couple of guys) maybe the rest of the team still on the park.

Whats the difference between that and everyone on here naming Shane and then slurring him on a public forum so everyone can see it?

At the end of the day winners are grinners. Did the Downs lose the game because Golder slurred someone? No. Did Gardens win the game because Golder slurred someone? No.
