Athlestone 0 Elizabeth Downs 1 - the pitch/beach/bog was terrible - believe we nearly lost a few in the puddles - second half was delayed waiting for the tide to go out.

Well we scored more or less your first goal & not to mention a hatrick of misses from us in the last 5 minutes. I think that might be it for Doddsy this year at least he scored though.

Enjoyable game & good bunch of blokes at Jets AFC true spirit of a 35's team unlike their neighbours.

Gardens 1 - Para Hills East 3

Easties put the pressure on in the first half & were only able to score 1 goal with Gardens struggling with early injuries with no bench big Kev in goals kept us in it. Second half Easties scored early with a goal pretty much from the kick off & Gardens scoring almost straight after with a spanker from Spearo. We certainly had our chances to equalise easties even had a couple that hit the post. Aitken I think scored the last after a free kick rebounded off the wall but the keeper did get a hand on it

Thanks to the Para Hills East boys that hang around after & good luck with the league.

Some great flowing and passing football played in this game and the football played belies the Celts league position who were twice ahead before being pegged back which included the final leveller from the Golden Fossil himself. Oustanding save from the Lodgers keeper to keep it even as well.
