believe thats what the rules are for ;) once youve been named on a first team 'team sheet' you are not able to play in the reserves cup

The four farm first teamers that went to a wedding are now available for the ressies cup. if seven went to the wedding then seven would be available. I think the rules should be ammended where regular first team players should not be eligable.....based on league games played already. ressie cup should be 4 ressies. me thinks the rules are a wee bit open to abuse ie the Downs could have played the first team v Gleeson ressies, not that we would have, but we could have and that dont sit well with me.

There is a rule like that, but it doesn't come in until 80% of the season has been played. Players who have played 80% of the first team games until that point are deemed ineligible for the reserves cup. In effect, it usually doesn't come in until the semifinal stage.

The three that missed out didn't go to the wedding at all, the three that went to the wedding two of them are B's players this year and the other is some unco C grader that wouldn't get a kick in a street fight let alone a game in the B's! (love ya mate :P )

As for the three that missed out with our A's focusing on the league why would we risk them getting injured in the ressies cup?

The rule relates to catch-up league games, not the Cup.

The Phantom scored a ripper first goal for the Hawks. Added a second and then "tweaked" his hammy so he could watch the rest of the Power game.
