As for the giant douche on the Para sideline yelling out the whole game, did I see a tear in your eye?.... Para made themselves at home leaving that mess around. Wasnt the only thing you left behind though was it... You left the 3 Points!!

My Beer tastes better then Your Beer. GO YOU GULLIES!!

Hows your coaches form calls someone a fat sherry, then when said fat sherry replies hes only fat because everytime he shags his misses she makes him a sandwitch  coach then cries and wants to punch on only to run and hide behind officials to hold him back    all this after he tries the same on with para coach, and about the mess and next time supply a bin.
And good comeback win to you boys little help from dubious penalty and send of of keeper but never the les last 20 mins by your boys excellent and good luck for rest of year

u werent there were you??? :clown: that was one of the most clear cut penalties ive seen. as for your penalty though....?????

The end of the 1st team game mustve been interesting!!!! I left with 20 minutes to go with the Vale boys well in control 2-0 up... Heard it got back to 2-2 and then a late Vale winner! Must say the Ref was SHOCKING!! He didnt let the game flow at all, picking on every little bit physical contact... Made it hard for either team to really get going early on. A win for the boys in the end, and that is what counts!
According to the SAASL website Vale won 3-1 and USC beat PHW 3-2.

4-1...... 3-1.... Vale scored more times than Gardens

Westies vs Lion

A's: 2-1
B's: 2-3

Good to finally get a win after some very dissapointing results over the past month. Certainly not an easy game, Lion put up a good fight. Heard they got a few players back for this one and if they can keep this team together will take some points off a few teams late in the year.

b's- farm 1 inter 2- top of the table clash going to inter. we have no one to blame but ourselves. not the wind, pitch or the northern lights. we came out completely flat in every way. two balls over the top led to two unmarked players scoring. a physical affair which had all the hallmarks of getting out of hand but never really did. we pegged one back in the second half and certainly had inter on the backfoot but to their credit they held on. we need results to go our way now which is disappointing at best. the next three weeks are very vital in the title race.
Considering Farm scored in injury time i would say its 1 point gained then 2 points dropped.

ok heres my view of the gully para game, was well contested all day and when i came off at 3-0 up with about half hr to go one would of assumed that it was job done. i hit the changerooms and had me shower and what not only to be greeted by our keeper as i was walking out telling me he had been sent off and i saw the pen which made it 3-3. it has taken me this long to realise that the game wasnt just a bad dream. hope we bounce back and continue playing the way we did for the first hour. just another classic between gully and para, just cant seem to beat you boys up there!

much better write up than on your website kinghenrik. a more realistic write up.other than conceding at 46mins and 30 secs of the second half probably a fair result. an even tussle with greenwood called up once and our GK maybe involved once. good turnout on the hill from the para boys, thanks to jay, simmo and farm boys for hospitality and good luck for the remainder.pain in the arse winner was well pleased

Downs have been pretty quiet all year.
Have noticed other teams are lot louder after they've had a win though.
It's only natural ?

Looking around at your 2 squads yesterday i didn't think there were to many that know of our history.(A couple of lower division epic battles - with the Gully coming out on top) Two great games by the Gully and while you bounce back and play like you did for the first hour hopefully we can continue on from our last half hour.

As for the big guy on the side lines, there is a line you shouldn't cross when it comes to banter and unfortunately for him what was said was low and uncalled for. Just fantastic to rub that back in your face come 4:45.

Ease up on the all quiet on the Downs front comments only just got the computer fixed today and it been a nightmare without it. I Dont blame the forumites for being quiet as we have had a huge weekend with wrestling on sat night and 5 teams at home on sunday we are all a bit knackered. Poor old Steedy could hardly walk last night but soldiered on regardless.

About the game, what can i say Fulham were the better team on the day. Well reffed by Steve(will get my vote for the best ref around). As I said 5 weeks ago the team that works harder than the rest will win the league.

Firstly well done to TTG for an amazing fightback. I thought you were being well and truly outplayed for the best part of an hour and it is not every day that a team can turn that around and come back from 3-0 down with twenty to go. We will have to wear that, but life goes on.

In terms of all the other stuff all I can say is that I am actually starting to feel glad that you guys got the points, your forumites whinging levels are painfully intense as it is, god knows I would hate to see what level we would have to endure if you had actually lost. I am guessing blood would actually stream from my eyes.

The funny thing is that you all have such a short memory. YOUR "good people" were the ones that charged onto the field in the B's game when it got heated between players on the field. Nobody from our club got involved and despite that not one of our forumites would have even mentioned it (despite losing the game). The only reason I bring it up is that I feel duty bound to put an end to all the pompous back slapping going on that folk at the Gully are perfect and it is the Munno Para boys, who have just wandered in from the projects out in the bronx, who are fouling up the earth.

Should I also mention that your B's referee referred to our players on the field as di ckheads? Or how about the fact that I actually saw one of your supporters litter? No, no, not the upstanding folk at the Gully?

Every club leaves a mess, some worse than others. I don't condone it, in fact I hate it because I am usually stupid enough to help clean up when your supporters, or whoever else visits, leaves a mess around. But I don't come on and b itch about it.

As for the crowd singing, well they were getting into it in the B's too and we were 5-1 down. One of the Gully boys playing in the B's actually commented that he was impressed with how vocal they were. In general our support is passionate and well behaved. If an isolated incident occurred on the other side of the pitch from where 99% of our supporters were sitting and it was indeed our supporter who was at fault then I apologise. But c'mon you got the win who cares if a couple of rounded blokes had a few heated words? I feel that it is hardly worth coming on here and moaning about.

Good luck for the rest of the year to TTG. Hopefully we can both stay up, bit of history and a bit of heat between us over the years always makes for a good weekend.

Good to finally get a win after some very dissapointing results over the past month. Certainly not an easy game, Lion put up a good fight. Heard they got a few players back for this one and if they can keep this team together will take some points off a few teams late in the year.

Westies were the more organised team and deserved the win. Our silly mistakes at the back cost us again. We still have 3-4 missing from that side, which is the story of our season. If we get close to a full side we will be more then competitive.

Boof bites easily. I hope for westies sake that he doesn't fire up that easily to opposition supporters every week.

GREAT to see the reserves win (3-2) their first game in nearly two years. Certainly the highlight of the weekend. Three cracking goals put them 3-0 up, conceeding 2 late goals to keep them on their toes.

C grade were back to winning ways beating Westies 4-3.

considering the farm could have been top if they had won at home and against the 3rd to bottom side, i feel its very fair to say that they dropped 2 points. im pretty sure my write up did also infer that the farm had their moments.

to be honest with you, i dont think you should take that into consideration, seeing that they had beaten florina the week before,,, who at the time were top.
im sure the farm wouldve take the game as if they were playing the downs, or any other team at the top.

im not understanding the dilemma here? farm are a credible contender for the title race, correct? to do this, one would think that winning every home game regardless of the opposition would be a must. therefore, to only draw at home (and yes i do think that it is pertinent to add the opposition's ladder position and maybe the fact that we did them 4-2 earlier in the year) means we have dropped 2 vital points. you just cant afford to drop any points at home. dropping points is dropping points no matter how the game went. i still say that the farm were nowhere near their best but still could've won.

So your happy we beat you then, just so you wouldn't have to put up with postings on a football forum? Do you know how stupid that sounds?

& also if your referring to me about dropping my litter you'll be happy to know I picked up at half time on my way to the bar.

I was spewing I missed the games yesterday through injury but Good luck to you boys for the rest of the season as well. Hopefully you hang around for some re-matches next season.

considering the farm could have been top if they had won at home and against the 3rd to bottom side, i feel its very fair to say that they dropped 2 points. im pretty sure my write up did also infer that the farm had their moments.
to be honest with you, i dont think you should take that into consideration, seeing that they had beaten florina the week before,,, who at the time were top.
im sure the farm wouldve take the game as if they were playing the downs, or any other team at the top.

im not understanding the dilemma here? farm are a credible contender for the title race, correct? to do this, one would think that winning every home game regardless of the opposition would be a must. therefore, to only draw at home (and yes i do think that it is pertinent to add the opposition's ladder position and maybe the fact that we did them 4-2 earlier in the year) means we have dropped 2 vital points. you just cant afford to drop any points at home. dropping points is dropping points no matter how the game went. i still say that the farm were nowhere near their best but still could've won.
I saw the 2nd half of this game and from what I watched, Inter was constantly on the back foot and the guy next too me, an Inter supporter, said bar the first 10-15 minutes it has been like this most of the game. Although Inter went up 1-0 against the run of play, I would say it was 2 points dropped for the Farm, but playing the better football does not give you three points and Inter held off the pressure well and gained a well earned away point.

It was probably more so to stick it up at the loud mouthed sideline than to avoid postings on a forum.

THAT will happen regardless.
