what a fantastic event the ffsa has put on for local clubs, giving all a shot at the opportunity to make the australian finals and possible world finals.

yeaa i saw the game and a ball got put through and he was centre back, and he fell over because he won a free kick, and the modbury player followed through, and whether accidentally or not, he stepped on his neck and pinched his nerve.
he could barely move his arm

campbelltown players were playing for emotion after that incident, very hard to stay focused, it looked like

Adelaide City played a thriller of a final against arch rivals West Adelaide Hellas with Westies finally winning 1-0 from a Jordan Kallios goal. Both teams played extremely well but Westies looked the more potent side today.Goodluck to the West Adelaide team as they prepare to do battle in Melbourne next month .Do it for South Australia boys !

A great tournament for the players...i can only wish i had something like this when i was that age...going to england would be a great experience for guys at that age to see the best talent from around the world at that age.

Congratulations to West Adelaide on their victory today. Good luck in Melbourne and enjoy the experience.
I would personally like to thank all of the participating teams and players for generally being sporting during the games we played and for most of the other games I watched. Nearly all of the Coaches were friendly and ensured their players behaved themselves on the park. To those Coaches that wouldn't shake hands, I am pleased to say that most of your players still did so well done boys.
I hope the lad who hurt his neck is ok and recovers quickly.
I am sure all teams benefited from the experience as we certainly did and are now ready and hardened for the season just under 2 weeks away. Good luck to all teams this year.

i agree with rabbit there, and yes rabbit, the campbelltown lad that hurt his neck is ok, and is apparently going for light training on wednesday.
tournament played in good spirits, but the mccormak incident in the campbelltown game ruined it a bit for me.
it was exactly like the stupid thing joel griffiths got sent off for against wellington phoenix.
he should be ashamed, but other than that was a good tournament.
great to see northern demons doing well.

Sounds like the whole competition was a huge success. Hope it continues next year and teams prepair better. Wonder if some sponsor / orginisor could arrange a similar cup, maybe SA only for more age groups and possibly girls too.
We all know there is not enough preseason games for the young players.

Hope the injured boy is okay and everyone enjoyed the experience.
