[quote="haywood djablowme"][quote="Left Right Out"]Sunday Div 1

Heard Benny A played a blinder for the Downs, well in champ some were saying Gardens at heart mate

It is interesting how he is now "Gardens at heart" after the serving you boys gave him at both the Salisbury United and Parafield games this season. You boys should have worried about winning more games during the seaon than relying on Benny to save your arse in the last game.

And by the way you boys owe him more than ONE case for the game he played yesterday. ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING yesterday, Well done Benny.

Where to start.
Weird season.
We had the best of times and we had the blurst of times.
Blurst?

Anyway, Croatia to div 3.
The boys tried but the hole was too deep.
Im sure most agree thats where we belong
and nobody's going to be sad to see us go.
Especially raptors, ttg, knights, vale, vista,
the referees, chichinowski, allah, kismet etc.

We ,on the other hand, are going to miss you guys.
Well, not the refs, chich or allah.
We're now forced to play against teams that arent as good, fit etc.
Everyone prefers to play where the standards are higher.
Hope we werent too rough for yas. no broken bones as far as i know.
Im sure div 3 teams will complain just as much.

Good luck to all you bastards next year. :)

P.S Advice to all. Double check and re-double check team sheets before your game and throw out older ones that werent used. Throw them out! Theyre not souvenirs. Always let your right hand know what your left hand is doing.

Congrats to the boys at Ingle Farm. Yes LenBhoy you are correct, florina's first 3 games really let us down, also the draw to PHE. We did in fact beat both the teams who were higher on the ladder than us, and if it hadn't been for our poor finishing, I believe, we would have beaten Farm the second time around too. We had our chances, but couldn't finish them off. Fortunately for the farm they took theirs.

Looking forward to next season, and hopefully we will come out of the blocks early, and be able to take it to any side. Also looking forwarrd to playing the boys from across the park, Inter, again.

I hope all players enjoy their off season, and look forward to seeing a lot of lads return next year. Should be an interesting one with the FFSA's decision to join the amateurs.

Absolutely not, we are actually dissapointed you guys went down, if indeed you do go down. You guys are a hard bunch, but im sure the boys are used to that by now. I guess a few elbows from some of your teammates wont be missed, but you guys as a club will be. You are passionate, well behaved (against us anyways), and there a re a few from your club that know a few from ours, so all in all, i think you guys will be missed.

Must say though, if you do end up going down, i gotta say, there will be some classic derbies between the Balkan states. You guys, Bosnia & Beograd all in the same comp should make for an interesting Div 3 next year. Add the Macos who themselves are confused where exactly it is they come from and you are in for 1 hell of a year id say

Farm v Pontian

A good day for us with the b's wrapping up their first Div 1 title. A great reward for the guys who in the last six years have
Won Div 3 whilst going undefeated
Won Div 2
Won Div 1
Won the cup in the last 2 years and are in the semi finals.
An excellent return and reward for a lot of hard work by these guys.

A big thank you to Pontian for actually playing cause I know it would of been easy to forfiet but they did the right thing and played the game.

In the A's, it was certainly a slower pace than normal as really there was nothing to play for. Pontians had a lot of guys out and really it was only the second half when they had to run up hill that they started to struggle. Great to see Clarkey, Squiddy and Evan all get amongst the goals. Jonesy is now 5 goals in 5 weeks. :)

Thanks to Pontians for coming out and sticking around after the game. Those boys can eat and drink!!! All the best to them next year and looking forward to their BBQ again

Also want to thank the Downs for their humility in missing out on the title. We recieved a lot of phone calls from their players and coaches congratulating us on the win and from other clubs as well. Lots of respect between us and the Downs after some great games in the last few years. Thanks guys.

Well done to Vale on winning the league. I thought they probably deserved it but in saying that, got to feel for Westies who only lost one game all season. Well done to both clubs and you were the best two teams in the league this year.
Sad to lose West Beach to Div 2. Its only 10 mins from home so loved having them in Div 1. Hopefully you boys bounce straight back up.

Well Done to Danny and everyone at Fulham for regaining promotion. I think this time they will be ready for the challenge. Also congrats to Brad and Inter again for winning Div 2. Cheers to Steve for all the drinks last week to :)

Ours B's move on to the cup and look to do the double. I can't think of any team recently in A's or B's that have done this. We will certainly be training hard and you could tell by the way the guys celebrated winning the league that there is still unfinished business in the cup that we wont be taking the Vale easy this week.

Cheers to all our supporters for coming out through out the year. Thanks to Simo, by far the best coach in the league for all his hard work, Billy and Leggy for there efforts and Shaken Not Stirred for his time with the C's

a shame if Croatia were to go down from div 2 after the lazarus like performance they put into the second half of the season. Is that ruling confirmed right winger? there seems to be a lot up in the air at the moment - pumas going to saturday's, gully thinking they're playing div 1 due to a pontians move etc...

Anywyas i dont see where the problem is, reality is that you guys have NOT got any official right to call urselves Macedonians. A true Makethona isnt confused, then again, the Pontians are the Greek versions of Irish

PLUS because of their theme song, they deserve to go up anyway... good old Lilly of Laguna!

Not sure what game you were watching Statto11, but I don't think you guys even had one shot on target? I remember a lot of shots going very high and wide. From memory you guys did play very well and probably controlled the game more than us, but I remember pulling on a brand new pair of gloves that day, and from memory they were still nice and clean when the game finished, so I doubt you really had much of a chance of winning. Anyway enough said of the past, enjoy div 2 next year.

And from memory our keeper wasnt troubled either.

Didnt say we won, said we should have. The strikers are getting the blame for their woeful shooting that day :?
