my favourite italian player is probably: Gianluca Vialli.

My favourite player to ever play in Italy would be: Gazza

My favourite non English player to ever play in Italy would be: Ruud Gullit
Things I am owed because they're too tight to pay up:

Colossus: One House

Costa: One Lunch

Oh and add in

Colossus: one photo and one letter from his "attorney".

Surprising no-one has mentioned the great Paolo Rossi

Totò Schillaci is also a legend

marco ballotta wrote:to copy the other thread because I don't like English players

right now mine would have to be De Silvestri although my favourite player changes every week lol

but from other clubs I don't mind young Giovinco and Rosina
Pazzini looks promising apart from a couple of sitters that he misses :?
and I love that Udinese attack - Quagliarella and Di Natale especially

anyone but Calaiò and Totti really
Think Gerrard, J Cole, Lampard, Ferdinand and Terry would walk into Lazio team.

90 when schillaci came from nowhere to win the golden boot. You might tell me differently but I'd never heard of him before that and didn't expect him to get a game let alone top scorer. I lost a bet on that tournament, when I got the old man to put a fiver on vialli to win the golden boot.

Joey Cole, as if noone could tell.

Whoever said Alan Shearer always had a soft spot for him. Still like Michael Owen too, if only he could stay fit and find some of his old form.

Aquilani, Totti, De Rossi, Quag, Damiano Tommasi

Old school: Roberto Baggio, Zola, Fabrizio Ravanelli,

My Nonno always goes on about Meazza, apparently his shot was devastating.

it's quite clear that 97's and my definition of decent teams clash

not so decent team & disgrace: the big business conglomerate and representive of globalisation in world football, and hirer of mercenaries. There are absolutely no prizes for guessing which side i'm talking about here.... :P

There seems in the modern game a negative stigma attached to English players but personally Matthew Le Tissier was a freakin' genius.

Gerrard.
