Gazza is in their list because as they say, without Gazza, no Football Italia in England.

Totti what a player i still remember him as a youngster playing his first game for rome in 93 against brecsia in a 2-0 win! He has come a long way! Scudetto winner, world cup winner, italian cup winner and golden boot winner and i reckon should have won the FIFA world player of the year award a few years back!
He has had some great goal celebrations as well like the one against lazio where he ran to the crowd and showed this shirt
or when he started filming the crowd after scoring against lazio...gold!

almost as bad as those napoletano boots
Totti non ha mai purgato la Lazio per tre anni
agree that Totti has been unlucky not to win a player of the year but still I hate the cunt
only one celebration from er pupone that I like to watch again

CORRECT!!Juventino wrote:Gazza is in their list because as they say, without Gazza, no Football Italia in England.
I might be wrong but Channel 4 started showing serie A the year gazza went there and was basically the only reason they bought it. Every sunday they would show lazio, unless gazza wasn't playing. Occasional, samp or bari game because of Platt but almost exclusively Gazza.
Things I am owed because they're too tight to pay up:
Colossus: One House
Costa: One Lunch
Oh and add in
Colossus: one photo and one letter from his "attorney".

I actually agree with you that i like that celebration as well but the one better was when he lay on his back with the ball up his shirt and his team mates pulled the ball out...lolmarco ballotta wrote:what terrible fashion senseCurva Sud wrote:Totti what a player i still remember him as a youngster playing his first game for rome in 93 against brecsia in a 2-0 win! The top three that standout are: Paolo Maldini, Robert Baggio, Alessandro Del Piero. But my favourite would have to be Dejan Savićević Il Genio (The Genius).
His performance in the European Cup final, was his greatest moment in football and arguably one of the finest individual displays seen in the competition. He created the opening goal and scored a spectacular 35 yard half volley in the club's 4-0 victory. With Milan he won 7 trophies, including 3 scudetti (Serie A championships) - 1992-93, 1993-94, 1995-96, 1 European Cup - 1993-94 and 1 European Super Cup.

Yeh that's it. If Gazza didn't go they would not have bought the rights or made a magazine. And it was mostly Lazio games at the beggining.Hawkesy wrote:CORRECT!!Juventino wrote:Gazza is in their list because as they say, without Gazza, no Football Italia in England.
