Well this has certainly been interesting reading! I am a huge fan of skillful soccer and no matter how much we seem to focus and promote in SA at all levels of soccer 'PHYSICAL FIRST', skill whenever, lets not forget that soccer is about skill. It is a 'non contact sport', and strength is an advantage, which goes without saying. Some teams need to learn to play the game and focus on a great game of skillful soccer- how much more enjoyable would this sport become? At Fulham, a lot of emphasis has been focussed on skill training and let me tell you it has certainly paid off.
well of course its all about skill.. i dnt think the pemier league lacks skillfull play but then soccer neva has been all about that u always have dirty players n its bcum a part of the game .. sum teams might use force more then others but thats jst the way it is
back in the day when i used to play football (teehee) i never really thought they were dirty. unless they have become dirty and smelly this year...not sure
yeah na i havent played club for a few years.. n iv never known them to be either.. but just from playing them, i personally thought they were. and im not the only one that thinks that..
oh ok - i dont think scumby cumby are dirrty... i personally dont think any club is intentionally (is that how u spell it haha) dirrty i tihnk they are just hack friendly!!!!!

i haven't seen any dirty players in the womens game... i have seen some players with poor judgement, but nothing that i would class as deliberately reckless or violent... some players go in harder than others... but i think all teams have them...
probably the only "surprising" action i have witnessed this season was the Red card from the Sturt Marion v Metro game... but that had nothing to do with a dirty tackle... just a frustrated player not handling the situation...
