He's a little too young and played too many games this year!legga wrote:I know he should of I just like winding old nugget up before a weekend. They could pick 2 state teams and people will still think someone dipped out. I reckon Sir Eric is way out of touch with some of his decisions but he can do what he wants. Where does Mark Swann div 10 leading goal scorer come into the equation..?
They wouldn't let his zimmer frame on the plane to Tassie.legga wrote:I know he should of I just like winding old nugget up before a weekend. Yeh Ryan had a great season Jay, he'll go close to our B&F. & definatly without being one eyed is one of the better 1st. Div players going around. Just ask the opposition coaches & for him not to get asked to at least train with the state squad? well that just dosn't make any sence to me? I believe the clubs should nominate at least 1or2 player to be considered.Jay Walking wrote:I thought Ryan Kaftan (spelling), might have been asked to train. He had a good season by all reports Nugget.

He had a great game against the Downs in the Cup. He didn't play when we played you guys though at Gardens. Suspended I think.nugget66 wrote:Yeh Ryan had a great season Jay, he'll go close to our B&F. & definatly without being one eyed is one of the better 1st. Div players going around. How does Wilson get in before Chris Ennis. Bias I know but similar builds and Chris can run a bit more.
If the state team go on and win though, we can't complain.
I thought the Wilson quote was some comedy relief from "on the side".Jay Walking wrote:He had a great game against the Downs in the Cup. He didn't play when we played you guys though at Gardens. Seriously, there is no way Wilson can be in the squad.

Sorry 'Shaken Not Stirred' but it's 100% true.
You think anyone else from Salis. Inter would actually deserve it over S.Wilson?
Who knows what their criteria is when picking the state team, its all comes down to their personal opinion who is the best i guess.

They didn't want to be embarrassed by asking the DownsJay Walking wrote:Haha. The league asked us the other day. We were a little reluctant as the first team haven't been training for a while.
Not sure why they asked us but we accepted. I guess we are just nice lol

Besides, sounds like selecting the squad wasn't quite a level playing field, so Farm's ground is more suitable

If you do it topless, I'll give you a Fiddy....
