Shaken not stirred you are a total biff. To accuse the Downs of cheating is a joke. Where as the joke was your pathetic excuse of a reserve team and as for trying to walk off the park is an even bigger joke. Your coach was ready to throw the towel in and take his ball and go home if any thing he put a slur on the game and no-one else. Hang your head in shame you weasles. If anyone else gets a couple of goals up on the farmers can you please take your foot off the pedal as they might want to go home and watch re-runs of Dr Phil...

Can anyone tell me what Steve Maxwell was doing at Southern Knights yesterday?
He took his centre midfielder off after 25 minutes (for no aparent reason), then at the end of the game a player had to go off injured & they had no subs left!!!!!!!!
Another game that Knights have failed to take FULL POINTS from!
i'm predicting them to be relegated

For once I wasn't at the game - first person I spoke to said a draw was fair, other couple said we deserved to win

From what I know we were 1-0 down at halftime and he made two changes - we brought it back to 1-1 and tried to win the game but yes made a third subsitution only to have a player go off injured with 25 minutes to go -it happens when you are chasing games you think you should win.

It appears you agree we should probably have won. As for relegation I doubt it, we take nothing for granted but both our losses - TTG and West Beach were hard fought games and I believe the Pontian game will be replayed (just my opinion at this stage)

I came out of the changing rooms after my game (b's) and it was 0-0. then 10 seconds after the player was substituted we scored to make it 1-0.
And he wasnt very happy. he was standing near me for the rest of the a's game... and from what i hear, he may not be there for the rest of the season.

but as far as the result goes. i think a draw was fair. it was a good game

Lets talk facts here though. We didn't take the team off the park. In fairness, the Downs were far the better team on the day. Even with a proper ref, you would of won that game. We accept that and I had no problems with the Downs players. The ref in the first half wasn't to bad. Missed a few things but you get playing B's. The second half was a disgrace. The penalty that was given was a penalty. Our problems was that our goal keeper had kicked the ball out, one of your players turned to the ref and said, thats a penalty so he gave it. Mind you the ref was standing on the half way line so he probably needed the help to be able to see it. I guess that we have had a good run with fair refs over the last 1-2 years, it was a shock to go to the Downs, the biggest club and get that guy as a ref. We were looking forward to the Cup Final rematch and we badly let ourselves down with the way we played. It was our first loss in 12 months and we had 5 injuries on the day.

When the Downs boys come to our ground, the C team ref is a qualified referee and the Reserves ref is also an ex ref. I did find it funny that even your linesman said your ref was terrible but it wasn't your fault, it was the leagues for not suppling a ref.

The A game was excellent game to watch. Downs are so strong and physical but fair. They go in for every challenge. Both goals were great and Downs deserved their win. I thought it was a admirable loss in many ways.

Doubt he will go anywhere - obviously like any coach he gets frustrated when we don't play aswell as we can and have 3-4 "passengers" your post is a bit strange about us not getting "full points" - doesn't seem like Croatia were upset with the draw - that tells me something anyway long way to go

I think the result will stand. From what I have heard two of our players got 3 weeks for the incident at your ground and I think your player got 3 weeks as well. As far as Im concerned it over and done with and we move on. I dont think the Knights will drop in saying that the Vikings played well and Pumas look like they are getting a few results too, all teams need to be on song everyweek to win the league and to even stay up.

Did you even read what I wrote ? I didn't blame the ref for us losing 6-0 I simply stated that he was very poor, if you watched the game then you would agree !!

So the ref was the reason you lost 6-0 in the bs?

In the As again had enough chances to win the game in the first half maybe they wernt clear cut but with the names at the club they should be putting those chances away. The big fella up front scored 2 for Vikings and both were well taken, one with his head. As I said earlier on in the season every team wants to beat us and every game will be tough especially if we dont score early. the fought hard after being 2-1 15 minutes into the second half and did well to get the result. Cant wait for the top of the table clash with west beach and it looks like our "friends" :D at Raptors did a great job, Thats what I like to see Greeks clubs looking after Greek clubs. would be fantastic to see both greek sides get promoted. I know its a bit early for that but there certainly is good chance of that happening.[/quote]

Frappe, I presume the parental control facility isn't working on your Daddy's computer. Wouldn't you have more fun in the Junior league forum? Any chance we can get back to the results...

I do believe its the Bank of Mexico. Going by the Carona empties. well done Florina, slightly better start than last year.
Good on Florina for having the ability to attract players which most of the other clubs with ambitions of winning anything would and are also doing. Since the beginning of competetition money has changed hands so the realists know that pocket money is just a gesture that comes with the territory. If you can get it, take it, if not there is always an option. Nothing has or will change amatuer or pro.

Was at the game on the weekend and was suprrised just how soft Modbury vista were - they had a piss poor excuse for a crowd while the gully folk came out in droves - Very impressed with the gullies pace and skill level. At the end of the Day just too good! Hopefully the same gully folk get out this weekend to see a similar result.
