City's to lose now. Positions 2-4 all on the line, but cant see any of them dropping out of the top 4.

I tend to agree that City should skip away, but it's a long run home for the rest and squad depths will be tested over the next 3 months.Digger wrote:Everton, Spurs and Utd can all easily get into top 4.Red-4-Life wrote:City's to lose now. Now this has gotta be the funniest post I have read in a looong time.Nice One Cyril wrote:Never going to get anything out of this game, so not overly bothered. Certainly didn't get much from the officials, we lose our best midfielder to a professional foul by Touré, Dawson was onside so goal should have stood and Rose clearly got the ball and then had minimal contact with Dzeko, so that should have been a corner, not a penalty and we should have had 11 men.Chaos wrote:I thought man city were unlucky.Stitch This wrote: The gift that keeps on giving

Once you're down to 10 men against a side of that quality, you have no hope.

Beat Cardiff and somehow managed to lure Juan Mata, surely Moyes is a shoe in for manager of the month.

Not that Spurs were much better in Hull

Kim Kallstrom will be out injured for up to six weeks after aggravating a back injury during the first half-hour of his Arsenal career, Goal understands.
The Gunners' only January signing arrived at the club with a minor back injury that was highlighted in the medical he undertook when he signed on Friday on loan from Spartak Moscow.
However, Arsene Wenger was told that the damage to Kallstrom's back was not significant, sanctioned the move and the staff agreed a five-day programme to get the player fit. The midfielder was pencilled in to begin full training with the squad two days before the crunch Premier League trip to Liverpool next Saturday.
Goal understands that Kallstrom had a one-on-one session with an Arsenal fitness coach on Saturday morning but aggravated his back problem within 30 minutes and immediately headed for the treatment table.
Tests showed that the Sweden international will face a lengthy spell on the sidelines, with the club not expecting him to play for up to six weeks.
The farcical start to Kallstrom's Arsenal career raises further questions about the injury prevention methods used by the Premier League leaders.
Coincidentally, the predicted timeframe for the 31-year-old's unavailability is the same as that of the player he had principally been brought in to replace. As revealed by Goal on Tuesday, Aaron Ramsey will also be out for up to six weeks after suffering a recurrence of a thigh injury in training on Monday.
Kallstrom is also expected to be out until mid-March, ruling him out of a demanding set of fixtures in which the Gunners play Liverpool and Bayern Munich twice each, and Manchester United.

Gareth, Erik or now Kim as you preferred to be called (you fannie ) are a joke. Post something about the duds at your own club. There's plenty there to choose from. Take a leaf from NOC's book and post some stuff on your own shite club will ya. At least he acknowledges that his side ain't up there yet. Even though he maybe a yid lover. I'd far sooner hear from him.
Inb4 you say city are top also.
Ps, you are still in our shadow. Fcuk off and get your own

I see the change in username has sparked a good reaction
I don't need to talk about the duds at our club I think you and your other mates do that enough... the Kallstrom debacle has given us a chance to laugh at you guys for a change

Dunno about that. First half palace really parked the bus. The possesion ratio of the game was an absolute joke...Derek wrote:Comfortable win for Arsenal
Good to see a different player stepping up when others are flat as has happened most of the season. And since his return from injury, my word, santi cazorla has been where its at! Playing unreal!!

Pretty sure Mourinho will need all his tricks and this is a crucial game - Chelsea need to not lose to keep the race alive. I hope they don't but I think Arsenal will fall away and Chelsea are the only ones that can compete with the depth that City have got.ozzie owl wrote:Has the double decker bus ordered by Chelsea for Man City game?

We were in total control of the game. Palace were never going to hold on for 90 minutes, but i agree certain players were very flat.
We will certainly need more intesity against Bayern, thats for sure!

Re: EPL 2013/2014
Sad thing is I've seen too many players do this in the "modern game". AU was doing it a lot in the early games, Croydon did it a bit in their friendly at Cumby on Saturday (much to my frustration) and seeing a Liverpool player gift the opposition like that this morning, well, wtf is this about playing short around your own penalty area? Modern day coaches are to blame really with this play out from the back at all costs rubbish. You do it when there's NO danger...end of story!!!!!BowTiesAreCool wrote:Experienced professional and all.
