Not really, only one game on the calendar....hadn't seen it before, at least now we can recognise it.
But theoretically speaking the Downs have not won 'naff all' this year...they also won 15 league games, including a win over Parafield, just wasn't enough in hindsight !

It's better for the game if the choclates are shared around a bit. Whilst we are enjoying the success the Downs and Gardens have dominated a bit much over the last few years. It will be good to see a new team on theblock next year to hopefully spice it up a little.
Do you think the Knights will be up there challenging for the goodies next year Swanny? Surely being the only club that far South there must be plenty of untapped talent around the place. I'd like to see you guys more than just make up the numbers.

Too far off to tell how next year will pan out....Knights have not been relegated in their climb from Division 6 over the last 19 years.
But in saying that, next year will big a tough battle...generally you need about 5-6 wins to stay in a 10 team Division...survival is the first ambition (which is no different than it was this year

).
Our aim is to hopefully have a competetive team on the park every week, attract more local support (interest) and to make visitors welcome in 'our' Clubrooms after the game. Anyone wanting to be part of this will be welcome at Knights.
