Re: Liverpool 2012/13
Sorry to all the Liverpool Fans on this forum. I am embarrasing you all for telling it how it is.

Our poor conversion rate doesn't mean our squad is cabernet. It means our forwards aren't doing their jobs. Our midfield created chances and our defence was solid, even with Reina underperforming last season we were amongst the best defences in the league.
Anyone who says, oh Liverpool played sh*t, are sh*t, have rubbish players is frankly a gobshite.
We were relying on our only decent forward Suarez to be our McManaman, Barnes and Fowler last year.
Either take pressure off him with some support and make his remit just goals. Or put a forward who can finish ahead of him and make his remit just create goals.
No good having the best chefs & then dropping the plate before you reach the table.

So what you're saying is that if we bring in better waiters, we would have one of the best restaurants around, correct?getborn wrote:The Kop wrote:E-fkn-x-actly!BowTiesAreCool wrote:You know that you're just backing up Kop's point, right?

Isn't that why you bought Carroll? Or are you saying that KK wasted all that money on a panic buy? At least Woy didn't spend much. The Kop wrote:........Or put a forward who can finish ahead of him and make his remit just create goals.

I think the point is that the waiters think your restaurant is shit, or in some cases, other restaurants pay better. The manager of your restaurant left because he didn't have enough good staff to operate, and the other managers have also been terrible until the latest one has arrived.BowTiesAreCool wrote:You know that you're just backing up Kop's point, right?

Let's see how long we can keep this analogy going
Re: Liverpool 2012/13
Wasn’t it obvious that Carroll was bought to replace Torres? Both deals went through on the same day and Torres’ price was dependent on Carroll’s, striker for striker. To state the bleeding obv. Of course it was panic buy, what deal on deadline day isn’t? We went for Llorente but couldn’t get a deal done.Nice One Cyril wrote:Isn't that why you bought Carroll? The plan was Suarez to play off Torres, which would have been perfect.
Still don’t understand how Roy is lauded, as if to say we erred by sacking him.
Wrong. Not that he didn’t get enough time, he was the wrong appointment in the first place and got too much time. Totally out of his depth.
He set us back, but Purslow set us back more.
Re: Liverpool 2012/13
Carroll has been ridiculously mis-managed since his move to Liverpool. He had a rough start, getting over injuries, wasn't scoring goals. When he started to play well, he'd find himself on the bench the following game. One of Kenny's majour downfalls wasn't the signing of Carroll (at the time, most clubs would have loved to sign him), but the way in which he was managed.Nice One Cyril wrote:Isn't that why you bought Carroll? But enough making excuses, he hasn't performed to the standard that he can. Doesn't look like he'll get the chances to impress at Liverpool anymore either.

Just gets better for Liverpool.
This loan deal is the saga of the summer:
"Nuri Sahin's agent had talks with Liverpool yesterday at Anfield, and that the 23-year-old will join (Marca) "
Still don;t count him as a Liverpool player till he's touching the sign.

Explain to me what's wrong with that statement? Is that not true?
How do you live without punctuation?

Curiously impressed you can recall a bit part player who played maybe 20-30 games for Liverpool.....#TrollsBeResearchingLitmanen wrote:Del Boca Vista wrote:lmao is this how you thinkLitmanen wrote:

Tbf, El Zhar was almost at Liverpool long enough to get a testimonial. Wouldn't have required much research..The Kop wrote:Litmanen wrote:Curiously impressed you can recall a bit part player who played maybe 20-30 games for Liverpool.....#TrollsBeResearchingDel Boca Vista wrote:

The Sahin saga has been mental! But does look like Liverpool have virtually got him now.....Good player.

Re: Liverpool 2012/13
Lovely through ball by Skrtel - maybe it is him and not Agger angling for a move to City?
Re: Liverpool 2012/13
Pretty standard by Liverpool so far, lose to West Brom and take points off City.
Not bad for the youngest squad in the premier league.
Rodgers is at least 30,000 times better than his predecessor
