How often do you see referees have a long chat with players after some seriously bad tackles yet they never issue a card.
Soon as a player rips his shirt off or kicks the ball after the whistle....out comes the yellow.
How about giving them a serious chat about the consequences of doing the same thing again.
As for time wasting....ultimately the referee signals the end of the game....add some time on.
I think the referees are more worried about the repercussions from FIFA referee panels should they display some logic or initiative.
