Motorsport - the clue is in the name. Especially when it's the pinnacle level of that sport.Slinky_Pete wrote:He said 'some'.God is an Englishman wrote:Wasn't the case during the F1 at the weekend.New Year New name wrote:

Some sports take advertising better than others. All the cars do is go round and round with a limited amount of spectacle and, so long as they show the pertinent moments even if slightly delayed, adverts don't bother me. Golf's a bit the same, who needs to watch the players walking down the fairway?God is an Englishman wrote:Motorsport - the clue is in the name. Especially when it's the pinnacle level of that sport.
Yes, he said some but Foxtel ads at the moment all about how they hate ads during sport, then they put ads in the middle of live sport.
I reckon three out of the bottom four are down, so you might well be having the derby again next yearMackem Lad wrote:I still live with hope of staying up, huge derby game this weekendNice One Cyril wrote:It shouldn't bother the Mackems, the Championship is still on FoxMackem Lad wrote:http://www.theage.com.au/business/media ... nl7k7.html
It was the same last year when Fox showed the Australian GP, but then for the rest of the races there were no ads and split screens. Could be something to do with that GP specifically, something with Channel 10?God is an Englishman wrote:Motorsport - the clue is in the name. Especially when it's the pinnacle level of that sport.

I don't remember that happening last year. Definitely no ads for the other races.Juventino wrote:It was the same last year when Fox showed the Australian GP, but then for the rest of the races there were no ads and split screens.
