There should be a $10k prize to the first person to knock out Lindsay Thomas from North on the field. Little cunt.

Bit harsh there - not a great look from Lindsay but not the worst offender.
That little cheat Toby McLean from the dogs is the worst!
Not only does he drop his knees lower, but also ducks his head whilst simultaneously doing the 'Selwood' arm lift to win free kicks.
Took him less than 60secs from the opening bounce on the weekend to try it - thankfully the umpire saw it and waved play-on.

When the North coach comes out and admits they train for it, excuse being "everyone else does it" (which is not correct), then there is merit in what I say and until someone makes a stand against it, this shit will go on and trust me, Thomas is one of the worst offenders not just this season, but last season as well. Add the fact that he is the biggest whinger when he doesn't get paid a free for not much, then the $10k price tag is around the mark for me.

What a crap season. This sport is on the decline. Time for AFL to change some more rules to get more interest. Hey, a women's league might be a start!

Crows could of had a home prelim final and double chance but no, they choked against West coke eagles.
Then the SA media have the nerve to use the excuse that the Betts fiasco caused the players alot of distraction leading up to the weekends game.
do
Watch them suffer against the mighty Kangas!
Even if they do manage to win, they will have to face either hawthorn or geelong away.
Both teams they HAVENT beaten this year!
Swans vs Geelong final!

I'd like to see Sydney v Crows. At least would be a true neutral venue, likely to be an open game etc etc.
That said, hope Sydney win it now (or GWS). Sick of Hawks and Geelong. West Coast could be the smokey.

We're the pride of South Australia......
fact remains, if the crows won their last game at home against the eagles, they would of played the semi final at home, not away.
the result could of been different, but Sydney smashed them all over the park.
The crows forward line didn't fire, the midfield tried to contain the swans, the defence was under constant threat.
The loss of Talia and Lever early didn't help, but Pyke must be accountable for playing injured players.
the youngsters went missing, but the finals experience should help them in future.
Adelaide kept a healthy list all year but were battered and bruised and all but broken by midway through the second term Saturday night. It was always going to happen one day. The Crows ploughed on courageously but never really looked like winning.
next year crows should expect to make top 4, but with a harder draw, would that be achieved.
the afl draw if the most biased draw which favours the vic teams!

If they'd won against the Eagles, then they'd probably hoped they wouldn't need a semi final.
Why should it be a harder draw next year? Crows finished in the exact same spot as last season, so should have the same "hardness".

lack of quality midfield was shown up....need 1 more inside and outside midfielder....
can Menzel play forward allowing Cameron to play midfield???
as much as Thompson is a club legend, he has to go allowing Yolman to flourish...otherwise we risk losing him.
we did alright considering it was the same team minus Dangerfield....none of the traded/drafted players played....Mylera, Seedsman, Hampton, Gore and Menzel
we're a relative young squad with a goal to goal line to be excited about

Ah yes - Junior Cornes.
The man who wanted to fight fires for a living - before realising that regular tv appearances and writing columns with an 'expert' opinion provided a lot more cushier lifestyle
As a crows supporter i actually agreed with a fair chunk of what he had to write - the Crows exceeded all initial expectations this year and as they continued to do so during the year, everyone's expectations grew quite rapidly.
I was disappointed we didn't finish top 4 but i honestly think the furthest we would have gone is Prelim Final weekend.
Our lack of midfield depth would hurt us in Finals especially against the other top 6 teams.
I was very happy that we made finals (and even won one) but the room for improvement is quite apparent.
As long as we continue to make those improvements then next year we can certainly push for longer Finals campaign.
