Ronnie plays out wide a lot of the time, Bale on the other side and Suarez in the middle. I think Suarez is the most creative of the three, in terms of bringing others into the game, so you could even play another out and out striker and drop him in behind. Shame they couldn't get Falcao as well but he preferred the thrill of playing in front of 6k fans at home! Could have come to AU.

Cavani is another interesting one, Chelsea have apparently put a 20 mill + Torres bid in, could just be a bs rumour because Rafa is now there though.
Suarez is the better replacement for Higuain and he will be cheaper than Bale too.
Plus he wants to leave.
It'll be tough, but it sounds like Suarez is definitely going somewhere. At best you'll get another year out of him.

I dont agree entirely. Was Saurez "top shelf" before he came to Liverpool? I think he was, and its not like they have been cemented in top 3 or 4 for champions league positions in recent years. The plan all along was to boost them to get them there I would have thought.
That said, for big $$$ and a big club in EPL doesnt neded much coercing if you are a top shelf striker playing in, say Holland or Portugal.
I guess the next part of this is what actually constitutes "top shelf".
Problem is Liverpool were selling themselves as a minor blip out of the CL and competing for honours back then, but the reality is that's proven to be wrong snce.
When Suarez first signed, I'd say without doubt we could attract most top players around the world. Now, with all due respect to the them, I rkn Spurs look like a more attractive destination for players.

The only reason he went to Liverpool though is because no other big club would touch him at the time due to his Behavioural issues. Now after proving to be so good even in the toughest league in the world, other clubs are now prepared to take the risk of signing him.
I personally think they should purchase maybe 2 or 3 players with the cash and help strengthen the current base they have.

Apparently Suarez now wants to go and he's announced as much in a presser before the Uruguay game. I haven't seen the actual wording though.
That's screwed Liverpool though, knocked £5m off his value now that clubs know he wants out. Considering the support he's had from Liverpool, that's poor.

Very disappointed that he may be sold. The media have given him a very hard time and have targeted him more than most but he has given them some ammo. Get as much as we can for him now and bring in 3-4 top players to replace him. Amazing talent just a shame that things have worked out this way.
the idiot fans that read the media every day have done just as good a job in pushing suarez out. liverpool fans say they hate the media the most but they are addicted to hearing information about the club and they fall for every word.
