Another loss to Farm

New year and same story under Simmo - losses early in campaign but this time 3 in a row.

Has he got the best out of the group and the club now needs a change?

Maybe this year could be 1 year too many he has stayed on and the club could regret it big time??
We actually use to have a mid year fade out. He's been at the club 11 years so is there really a big difference between 10 years and 11 to say he has gone one too many? Plus, from 10 years ago, only 1 player is still in the side from then.

We've played what most would consider the best two sides in the league and could of got points but didn't. We were in the contest though. Not sure what happened today or what Vale are like. We are missing 2-3 players still so I wouldn't write us off just yet. Would love a few points by now but there is still 15 games to go.

You heard wrong Sid. While the referee booked pretty much close to every player on the park in a game he then told Cooky he didn't find it dirty.

Oh and was 2 pens

Has a new rule come in that away teams don't come in for a drink after the game ???
Sorry we were just starving and had to rush to get something to eat. No food for 4 or so hours is a hard slog!

Nah, I think the new rule that your talking about mate, is the one where you don't offer food for the opponent during the game! But just to also let you know, your own supporters are ripping you off by bringing their own booze in an esky on the other side of the pitch! - at least we supported your club during the game by making very good use of your bar (if anyone bothered to check)

Did you ask your bar staff? We drank plenty mate, no need for bitterness! It was a hard fought game by both sides.

Munnno Para ( 1 ) Southern Knights ( 4 )
....................................David Mooney 2
....................................Aaron O'Toole
....................................Anthony Micheal

Well in to Knights in picking up 3 points on the road, unfortunately costing them two suspensions nex tweek (Cup Round 1 ) as they were reduced to 9 men (due to 2 yellow cards)
Munno Para also lost a player due to 2 yellow cards in what was a hard fought but not overly aggressive game...both teams gave and took for the full 90 minutes.
Special congrats to David Mooney who picked up 2 goals making him the highest league goal scorer in Southern Knights 19 season history, moving 2 goals ahead (64) of Glen Walsh (62).
Aaron O'Toole opened the scoring early in the game and David Mooney converted from the spot minutes later.....Knights took a 0-2 lead to the break but were reduced to 10 men just before half time.
After the break David Mooney was on hand to head home Knights 3rd. from a Jamie Faulkner corner.
Munno Para pulled a goal back heading home from a well taken free kick...it may have been 3-2 later when Stephen Maguire did well to tip a goal bound strike over the bar.
Eventually substitute Anthony "Diamond N D Rough" Micheal capped it off with a 4th for Knights just before the final whistle.

Reserves
Munnno Para ( 1 ) Southern Knights ( 1 )
....................................Charlie Hollis

A good fighting knock for a slightly undermanned Knights Reserves today with Charlie Hollis putting the visitors in front early.
Munno Para pulled a goal back in the second half from a free kick that Phill Smith parried onto the crossbar only to see Para first to pounce.

Come on doc, who are the few others?
Robbie might & I mean might make the bench.

Those sides are quality & very strong squads. Tys Prescott & Crowly on the bench for gardens, with kosznik for downs (I'm sure the other bench guys are good too I just don't know them :)) says how strong they are

Cracking day out today got the result which always makes it better, Ebomo sent off early with the downs dominating the first half,go in at nil all. Different story for the first 20mins of the second half with the lickers taking it to us.The lad that came on up front gave us a bit of curry. Up steps our wizards trimmers and nathan, life is good. Nathan,s was especially nice. Can't beat experience and wise heads. Damon Daiglish best on ground again for the 3rd time in a row, bit of a find this year.....
