If you found that really funny then you need to get out more or at least watching something different on TV.

Why so early?
Good to see the early kick-off. Highly commendable if the reason was so that people can go and see the one-off A-League Elimination Final at 4.30pm.

Adelaide Yoonited ain't perfect by a long shot, but it's the only professional outfit this town's got and some of us oughta support it before it disappears.

ps, I note that the Cichanowski Cup/Shield is being played on the previous Sat. night (6/4). Was that to fit in with the A.U. game on Sunday?

pps, any of ya inglorious basterd forumites heard if any other SAASL clubs have moved their Preliminary Cup games or trial games forward by 2 hours so any of their interested people can get to Hindmarsh by 4.30pm?

It was the only reason why it was moved.

Cichanowski Shield is on a Saturday because it was the Saturdays teams turn to host the event but as their ground is not available, Downs are hosting it on the Saturday.

Thanks for that answer, Jay now Walking.

What a pity the SAASL didn't encourage more of their Sunday Division Clubs to do the same as the Farm & Gully. Look, A.U. hasn't been perfect by a long shot - but they're the only professional soccer-football Club this town's got & more ought to get to Hindmarsh to support them in this A-league Elimination Final. After all we won't see them live here in Adelaide in a competitive match until October..

Farm should have won by a lot more. They dominated possession and Gully were on the back foot for the majority of the match, bar one 5-10 minute period about 25-35 minutes in.

That being said, TTG's keeper only made four saves for the whole match.
Farm look extremely dangerous going forward, they just have to hit the target more! Could have been 4/5 - 0.
