You'd say Hawks are the favourites. Sam Mitchell is starting to find form and he makes the Hawks tick. As well as hodge coming back, they look dangerous. You'd say crows can beat anyone on there day but I am not sure if they have enough to go all the way this year. Once there group plays for a good 2-3 years, they'd be up there in contention. I think Hawthorn, Collingwood and Sydney are the 3 best teams this year. Collingwood can be beaten too. Should be a cracking final series.

hawks are definitely the best team this year

Yeah, neither will Brisbane, Melboune, Bulldogs, GC or Port Adelaide. I don't get the relevance.
Of the current top 8, Crows have beaten Sydney, WCE and Geelong (h). Lost to Collingwood, Geelong (a), Hawthorn & NM.. these are our only losses btw. We play Essendon this weekend. (so 3-4)
Sydney are 5-1, Hawks are 5-3, Collingwood 5-2, WCE 3-4.
Maybe Sydney should be appealing for GWS (since they've played more current B10 teams)

Adelaide cant cut it against the best sides when they are at full strength. They won't make it far in the finals. Sydney, Collingwood, Hawthorn and outsider Geelong will push for the flag.

While I don't think we'll make the GF, we have only played (v Hawks) at full strength ourselves. And we've beaten Sydney & Geelong already.

Its good for SA if the Crows and Port fail.
We dont want talented young sportsman being encouraged to waste their talents on a sport of no material significance. Better for the State if these teams struggle around mid table and all the talent goes towards other sports that have far greater international impact and far greater economic potential.
Having the Crows or Port do well creates a long term economic burden on SA. Its like introducing a new tax.

on a side not....the rumours regarding 3 strikes for recreational drug use and a gun hawk forward (who's injury is taking a long time to recover) has surfaced again....
i wish they hurry up and decide....i need to consider selling him for my dreamteam prelim....

When port were doing good and crows weren't, crows fans were waiting for port to slip up. What goes around comes around
