Not sure what I'd love more, 2 strikers that can hit the back of the net or Marado's reaction....

Lavezzi is hardly a proven scorer.
However, Cavani would score at the same rate as Messi if he had Lavezzi & Suarez either side of him.

Lavezzi will create, 9 goals in the league is his best return, however he takes a lot of heat off the rest of the forward lines he has played in.

Will be a good signing if you are willing to stump up the 31.8 million Euro clause. Then we can buy Jovetic.

Well you did pay 30 for Carroll....

Nah I’d rather keep AA and sell CA but somehow I don’t think we can use Adam as a makeweight in any deals with Italian teams…

That would include Serie B teams.

i'm keen to see what adam looks like next season. he was decent next to lucas and wasn't really a scape goat until he had to do work he can't do on the pitch. i don't even consider aquilani our player he is a joke, hope we sell him to anyone bar milan ASAP.

He is a joke how? He was unfortunate with injuries but I thought he was very good with the limited time he played.

Looks good in a poor side that were going to lose possession easily anyway, but put him in a team that should be keeping the ball and he just burns possession way too easily. He's got talent, but I'm not sure if he's got the brain to understand how and when to use it.

Fair assessment, agree with that.

I think he's a good option to have in a squad, yeah. Looked quite good early in the season next to Lucas. His form suffered the most when Lucas got injured and he was forced to defend more. But because I'm intelligent, I haven't jumped on the 'LOL ADAMS SHUD BE IN DA AMACHA LEEG' bandwagon.

But hey, each to their own.

I couldn't possibly begin to work out where Adam could fit in this formation -

However the more I read about Rodgers and his philosophies the more I think he is a great match for where we are at. He will have no problem communicating with Borrell and I am sure they like playing football in a similar fashion. Forget about "being like Barca", it's more reinvigorating, tweaking Liverpool and the Liverpool way!

Adam is a Premier League player, I can admit that, but he should not be anywhere near a club like Liverpool.

Players like himself, and managers like Rogers are just causing Liverpool to inch themselves closer to being just another run of the mil mid-table club. It's sad but true.

Although I really hope to eat my words in relation to the Rogers appointment.

Lucas, Henderson, Coates and Agger will all thrive under Rodgers, perfect fits for his system.

There's a potentially huge upside to Rodgers appointment, but it's a gamble.

Definitely. I'm very interested to see how Carroll and Suarez are incorporated into Rodgers' system.

Allegri before Milan was where?
Conte before Juve?
Klopp before Dortmund?
Guardiola before Barca main team?
The doctor guy at Inter?
Just about every Lyon/Porto manager in the last decade?

Albeit the above clubs had systems and sports directors in place.

The biggest risk for Liverpool is the system which is a bit revolutionary for the English game, not the coach.

Stadium announcement close, looks like an expanded Anfield. Taking it to 60-65,000 seater plus extra prawn sandwich space.
Offer has been put to the residents adjacent. (cue the 50pence for the lot should do it jokes )
