Re: Was it a foul?
Suarez is only guilty of going down easily which can be said for 99% of players.Giallorossi wrote:Suarez is a diver and hopefully the refs crack down on him soon!!!!
The FA should have banned him for diving to get Rodwell sent off cheating wanka!
Dives - he does not. I challenge anyone to provide evidence on the contrary.
The media circus to excuse United's poor performance, Rooney's indescretions has worked. Well done Ferguson, extraordinary politican and protector of men, lucky he wasn't alive in the 1920s, most of Europe would be eating Haggis.

Re: Was it a foul?
In today's football, it's not so much diving but making the most of a foul.
If you are fouled a free kick/pen should be given. You shouldn't lose that advantage by using theatrics.
Blatant 'simulation' is the cancer in the game, and very few players are guilty of this, luckily.

So, the topic is about a foul, and u talk about diving and fouls???
how is that not relevant to this topic???

Re: Was it a foul?
The Kop wrote:I'm backing Suarez right of innocent until proven guilty. Evra proves it was a calculated mud sling by mentioning it on TV, then saying it's no big deal.
Funny how at the supposed corner where he was racially vilified "like 10 times" no one was within earshot....
Evra. The same guy who accused a Chelsea ground steward of calling him a "f*shiraz immigrant". Turns out the ground steward, himself an immigrant from Senegal called him "f*shiraz ignorant". Cleared by the fa.
Lipreading deaf united fans watching in 2006 accused Steve Finnan of abusing Evra. Evra went along with the claims, but they were cleared once again by the fa.
I think you will find Evra wasnt the one making that accusation.
"went along with the claims" - care to elaborate?
South Africa 2010, as captain he overthrows the national team and bullies gourcuff.
Evra is a proven trouble maker. If the claims are true, I expect Suarez to have the book thrown at him. If evra has cried wolf again Suarez should send in the lawyers.

Re: Was it a foul?
TBH, very few players actually dive, with absolutely no contact at all. However, these are grown men not delicate flowers and they should be able to ride the slightest of touches.
I'd hate to see Suarez on a busy street, he's be on his backside every couple of yards when someone brushes past him.

D.A.M, are you that much of a piece of shit bandwagoner? Comparing Adam making the most of a foul by Rio to "watching Serie A"? And you claim you follow Napoli and Italian Football?
You really are a fucking idiot. Why would you even say something like that against the football you were bought up on? Or are you in Manchester United mode? When do you switch to Napoli mode? When do you switch to AU mode? You are a fucking disgrace.

Re: Was it a foul?
That's the trouble with the big girls that play the game today, any contact is deemed to be a dive-worthy foul. I'm sure it used to be contact sport played by blokes.totsreds08 wrote:. Replace that Napoli logo with Manchester, you big fan boy you...
Also, on topic... LOL at Manchester supporters calling anyone else divers. Wayne Rooney took the biggest dive I have ever seen in world football to halt Assnal's long unbeaten league run, and I bet not one of you battered an eye lid back then.

Re: Was it a foul?
As for the chelsea one _ Why is fucking immigrant even racist?
It doesn't target a particular race but MANY, including ones own race.
It's a statement of a fact, was evra more upset by fucking or immigrant.

This is proper twighlight zone stuff now. There is undeniable contact. Rodwell clearly caught him on the ankle after the ball with the trailing leg and slid in with the knee. At speed, the ankle rolling from the force of Rodwell's knee will more than likely be painful. It's not unreasonable at all to hit the deck.
What was unreasonable was Atkinson's handling of the siutation. Considering he produced the card within 2 seconds, Suarez didn't even get a chance to be the conman he is by rolling around a dozen times, then bounce up and trott on. Lucas and Adam who were 10yards away didn't have a chance to demand a card - didn't need to.
But here's the kicker....faking an injury is a way of conning the ref to make the situation seem more serious than what it so as to infer the ref dish out a harsher penalty to the opponent, do we at least agree on that?
So why, after an instant red was produced did Suarez still call for the physio to come on and stay off the field for treatment. Seems a bit odd no? The end doesn't justify the means does it if there was no contact? Why call for treatment at all, you already have achieved the best possible outcome in the situation giftwrapped by Atkinson.
