Verginas were good. :D Pontians had many missing through suspension and other reasons so a good result for them considering depleted team. Who was that little bloke going off on Villa's bench?

Reserves

Elizabeth Downs 5 Hahndorf 2

We gave a couple of goals away in the first half, but Downs were a step ahead for large parts of the game. Massive pitch left us a bit short at times and some quality entertainment by our 'keeper kept the home fans happy.

Thanks to the Downs for the beers and chips after the game

Much improved performance by fulham this week.

Created some gd chances today but 1 was enough in the end.

Plenty of momentum to carry into next week against Pontians.

Read on the Elizabeth Grove FB page that they beat Villa 3-1 in the Reserve Cup.

Sunday teams certainly 'representing' this year.

Bit uncanny - both Cups have x2 Saturday Premier, x5 Sunday Premier, and x1 Sunday Div 2 teams remaining.

Parafield Gardens and Elizabeth Vale the only two teams with both squads left in both Cups.

Teams remaining:

Challenge Cup
BOSA (Saturday Premier)
St Peters (Saturday Premier)
Elizabeth Vale (Sunday Premier)
Fulham Utd (Sunday Premier)
Parafield Gardens (Sunday Premier)
Pontian Eagles (Sunday Premier)
Salisbury Florina (Sunday Premier)
Beograd (Sunday Div 2)

Reserve Cup
Adelaide Wanderers (Saturday Premier)
Stirling District (Saturday Premier)
Elizabeth Downs (Sunday Premier)
Elizabeth Grove (Sunday Premier)
Elizabeth Vale (Sunday Premier)
Ingle Farm (Sunday Premier)
Parafield Gardens (Sunday Premier)
Brahma Lodge (Sunday Div 2)

Last time I checked it's not an AUFC supporters only forum

So no need to tell them to 'F OFF'

karmen why wait for a gardens reply. my opinion, san marco defended very well but gardens dominated the game even with 10 men. San marcohas a keeper that clubs should try to get to play in a higher Div.
very good display although his temperament can be worked on; was hoping for extra time the ref plucked some stuff out of his arse. I think he wanted to go home at a normal time, maybe being a cup game a little earlier.
well done san marco.....gardens deserverd winners

You answered my question that being the ref you had is a shocker!

I agree there are some great players in lower divs.

Yep Freddy got send off 2 Yellows??? 1st Yellow for swearing at a Gardens player??? Second for Decent...
Just means someone else will get there chance Sunday week against the Downs...

WALNUT HEAD This Referee is a bloody beauty he should be wearing a light brown shirt with a red arm band full NAZI ....
No personality, cant communicate to players, & thinks it's all about him.
5 Red cards in 2 weeks & would've been easily 8 cards all up in our game, hate to think how many send off's for the year?
Anyway we know who & what he is so can't really complain...

Bring on Round 13 & the DOWNS....
