BOSA 7 (dino mennillo 3 , tasovac , watt , charnstrom , keylock ) Wanderers 1 (Andy McAuley) .....pitch was very tacky - game played in a very good spirit. Camilleri & Anastasiou came off the bench for BOSA and both played well.

I saw S.Villa's div 5 team recently.and they have seem to have a good mixture of young kids and experienced players playing there, clemence wrote:sturt v sal villa, wasnt a great game to watch. very scrappy for most of the game and not a lot of team posseion by either. lots of long balls. impressed with the young 16yr old from villa, hope he learns a bit from amatuers and can move up somr levels as he gets older. hats of to villa for giving the young kid a game, have seen lots of coaches who are to afraid to play a youngster. If your good enough your old enough. ps ref was very soft on several occasions, seems like keepers cant go one on one for the ball at a strikers feet anymore

To the comets guys, is there any news on the lad that had to go to hospital with the heart problem?
It was a most unfortunate thing to happen and I hope that he is well and recovers soon.

He came off early against us too... this is nothing new, I understand he's had heart problems for a while unfortunately.
I wished him good luck and told him to look after himself first! Hope he's OK... needs to realise that living is more important than amateur soccer.

Is a response a turn of the head, I could have been looking at anything not responding to a comment. Did the comment even come from that direction?kramerica wrote:kolobaras, didn't say that you said anything, he said "RESPOND", which is what you did didn't you?God is an Englishman wrote:must have been someone else, because I didn't say anything.kolobaras wrote:At 0.27 someone mentions the gay word.

geez and i thought you were an intelligent forumite blackbrian. anyway i just want say the jets were treated poorly on saturday in that we had no access to changerooms till 20 mins to kick off because of iggies d team or something using it. not the best preperation is it especially given the conditions on the day and what was at stake. not saying that this descrepancy lost us points but if one was partial to conspiracy theories , well . say it aint so kitchBlackBrian_7 wrote:Wow, more than 1 skin head watching a Modbury game??God is an Englishman wrote:must have been someone else, because I didn't say anything.kolobaras wrote:At 0.27 someone mentions the gay word.

how do you have any idea what I was looking at? I could have been looking for my team mates who were starting to turn up, I could have been looking for ex team mates who were starting to turn up.
I could have been looking a some blonde bird who was jogging past.
I actually can't even remember, I don't even remember the comment I was "responding" to.

Just quietly, that's a load of cr@p. I was sitting at the window in the bar, with 4 of the Modbury "C" guys for about 15 mins (my son wanted to sit down), and your A guys were slowly walking in front of the window to our changerooms the whole time. Then at 2.27, I got a phone call to relieve someone from the BBQ. The last guy had probably walked past the window around 2.20.ozriel wrote: geez and i thought you were an intelligent forumite blackbrian. anyway i just want say the jets were treated poorly on saturday in that we had no access to changerooms till 20 mins to kick off because of iggies d team or something using it. not the best preperation is it especially given the conditions on the day and what was at stake. not saying that this descrepancy lost us points but if one was partial to conspiracy theories , well . say it aint so kitch
Our D team were playing RBE at the time (Div 3B) and our C team were changing in the bar. Our A team were changing in the big change rooms, and RBE (Div 3A) had changed and were warming up when I walked outside (at 2.27).
Unfortunately, there is only 1 away changerooms (how many clubs have 2 away changerooms), and RBE utilised them first. But it would appear they vacated them at least 40 minutes before kick-off.
Edit: Kitch wasn't there.

Some pretty precise times there, I presume you looked at your watched to see what time exactly blokes came in/out of changing rooms.

I was with ozriel when he approached an iggies committee member to complain that his team had been told to "get changed under a tree".
According to your timings, RBE came out to warm up 33 minutes before kick off. Is that true, that's pretty professional of them.
Why did the A grade not get changed in the club rooms? why did they not take the small changing room and leave the large one for the teams that had to share. Poor sportsmanship really - wouldn't have happened in my day.

Correct me if I am wrong (I am sure someone will if I am) but don't the amateur league guidelines stipulate that the visiting team have priority with regards to using covered changing facilities.
What would be the punishment for a breach of this kind?

Depends on how you define "inadequate"? The portable changerooms can adequately accommodate both teams, but
This was only the 2nd time Iggies had 6 teams at home this year, and it was not very well organised, in regards to the portable change rooms. We had the option of opening the school changerooms, but that's a further walk (across the footy pitch and through the school) which would, undoubtedly, brought complaints. I note, neither Adelaide Villa or Flinders, made any complaints in Round 2.
Imagine you (Hawkesy) would have complained if you had to share a change room with RBE before the match too.
I will raise it for the next sextuple that both teams are aware that the changerooms are required by another team, so that the first team vacates a bit sooner.

No. I looked at my phone call history and that tells me what time I was called. I didn't state when people left the changerooms, just what I saw (which was RBE out of the rooms at 2.27, and approximated that Jets players had made their way towards the rooms around 5-10 minutes earlier)God is an Englishman wrote:

There is no way that Jets were in the changing rooms at 2:17-2:22. NO WAY AT ALL!
Also, having changed in both of those changing rooms, I can safely say that the small one would never manage to hold 2 adult teams. The larger one would do it at a push though! However, for comfort even your C Grade wouldn't share the larger portacabin.
You shouldn't have to share a changing room with another club, that's pretty obvious as it's your time to prepare.
On a plus side, the showers were brilliant. Would hate to see the queue for 44 people trying to get into them, but hot and powerful. LOVELY!
