Something dodgy went on at half time. As soon as we walked out of the changed rooms the Bosa coach was in the refs ear, (if bosa were winning, it would NEVER of happened). Straight from the Stirling kick off, the bold guy did a wreck less challenge worthy of a red card......arguably a well executed half time plan.
Cheers......had a call from a mate who plays for you guys (Stirling), gave me the run down, was pxissed off big time.
Where you at the game?
Wonder if your opinion means anything...........
Bunch of tossers mate.
i played the full 45 minutes and 2 seconds mate.
did you play? where you at the game?

No mate got a call after our game (raining from start to finish in town)
some bloke wrote:Wasnt the conditions the ref pointed out, was the saftey of the players.
Had conditions changed during the duration of the game? If not and the game had started, it should have been completed.
Can only imagine a bit of pxissing in the ref's ear going on at HT when the conditions may not have favoured one side and also possibly being down at HT
VERY SOFT IMO, that ground could handle a mountain of sxhit.
Ref wrote on the team sheet 'Game called off due to dangerous conditions'. Conditions didn't change from kick off to half time. Bosa manipulated the ref from start to finish, unfortunately the ref that was there today is completely spineless, if it had been Greek Steve or the fella who checks the ball pressure before the game this wouldn't have happened. The 2 footed tackle over the ball that the ref called the game off on would have been red carded and we would have got on with the game. Absolute joke, surprised some blokes can sleep at night.....
Are you actually being serious saying that the conditions did "not" change? For the conditions to have not changed from kick-off, the players would have to have not ran on the pitch, and therefore not chopped it up. Secondly, it would have had to of stopped raining. Im pretty damn sure that the rain not only didnt stop, but it got heavier during some periods of the match. And although the challenge at the start of the second half was reckless and over the top, the reason why he was capable of making the challenge was because the stirling player tried to knock a 5m pass to the edge of the circle from the k/o, but the ball only made it half way due to the amount of water on the pitch!! So to say conditions hadn't changed and that the game should have been completed is absolutely absurd.

Maybe the Referee should have sent the guy off,and got on with game, it is winter sport guys. That would have upset the "plan"
If both coaches convinced the Referee to start the game, then the referee should only have called the game off if both coaches agreed.
Or,maybe if both coaches had let the Referee decide ( by himself ) all this would have been avoided ?
One question, if a player is sent off in a game, that is eventually postponed and is to be replayed later, does that player still have to serve a suspension ?

Without being there...........i guessed that would've been the case . If it was called of before, i could understand, change of conditions due to more rain etc. NP. but if the game is 50% done and dusted and no change...........someone's gone down on the ref at HT and he's all out of juice. "soft cxocks should harden the fuxck up or their always goind to play the bridesmaid in this division".[/quote]
Sounds like someone is shitting their pants because they couldnt get a result at home.. Hoping other teams wont win to cover up your short comings is a bit weak jerk-off...

the pitch was barely chopped up mate, get your facts straight. (did you see the other pitch, now that was chopped up).
Your an idiot mate! In regard to that pass, the only reason why it didnt get to him quick enough is quite simple. He just kicked it way to soft (I was right there). The ball travelled fine in the middle of the pitch and after half time it was not very different to what it was like at the start of the match. The ball did make it to the player but your player decided to slide in 2 footed when he had no chance of getting the ball plain and simple. the pitch still looked in good conditon after that 45.

Well, one team wanted to play & were winning at the time. And the team that was losing spent all their energy trying to get the game called off. I think I know which team it was that had the brown stain on their pants. I'll leave others to judge which comments are 'a bit weak'.
(PS. Yes, I was there, in case that matters. )
Stirling District (est 1967) 32 seasons successfully avoiding a Championship then this
1999 Div 2 Champions
2002 Div 2 & 2B
2004 Div 1 & Champion of Champions
2007 Div 1 & 1B
2009 Div 1B
2011 Div 1B
2013 Div 2B & 7C
2014 Div 2B

Stirling needs to make sure they get a good crowd there when BOSA man up and come back. Hopefully the conditions wil be good and the atmosphere hostile!

And the C's won 4 -1 against MacLaren Districts, a team who had won 9 out of 9 and only conceded 2 goals till they played Breakers!

Only an idiot would have thought your comments had anything to do with Villa anyway.
I could well be wrong here but I have played in a game where we were winning 1-0 and the game was called off just after half time. The result stood. We won 1-0.
However, that was a B's fixture but the priniciple should be the same.
NO RESPECT FOR YOU SOFT COCKS, NEVER HAVE, NEVER WILL. SO YOU CAN GRAB YOUR TITS AND BULL AND ENJOY THE RIDE!!
LETS HIDE BEHIND THE REF NOW HAY!!!
JM
Your a f disgrace. To all at AV tell this clown to pull his head in.
From an outsiders perspective, why even get next to the ref at half time?? The game is 45 mins in, yes, you are 1 down. Big deal. Your coach should have pulled you in at half time ( instead of negotiating with the ref to call the game off) and revved you up. And for a player to go in with a wreckless challenge 2 seconds into the 2nd half indicates it was purely tactical. Your opposition wanted to go toe to toe with you, just play!! It is amatuers FFS!! You guys would have scored an equaliser and it would have been game on! I am sure you guys, including your self have played in bad, muddy, dangerous conditions.... but its a winter sport. We as amatuers should not expect to play on a golf course every week. As for Stirling, I think they were dealt a very bad decision by the ref. Even if BOSA did plead for the game to be called off, it comes down to the decision the ref makes. I have been and still am a player, and playing in those tough conditions is the best!!
Fiercely contested but poorly officiated. Strathalbyn linesman was disgraceful with countless questionable offside calls against TVSC. Referee admitted before the game he was going to leave offside calls to the linesman, so he let it go.
The Strath linesman should be ashamed of himself and his club should be embarrassed by the way he acted Saturday.
Uni had 3 shots at goals & scored 2 the Vipers had enough opportunities to win beat them twice, too many chances went begging.
IMO, Adelaide Uni the best side in the competition. They have the best coach, players and depth. The league tables in Div 2a and 2b speak for themselves.... both top. The next time Vipers play MA Hawks will be the decider for the runner- up, consequently, the 2nd team promoted. I know the Cougars have clashed with the Vipers, but lay off them!! First loss of the year and have only conceded 6 goals in 11 league games. Good effort. Comets and Titans, 2 good sides, but will have to play for promotion next year now. Cant lose to two lowly sides and expect to play in Div 1 next year unfortunately.
