I have experienced more noise at the cinemas. Enjoyed the game but seems as though the crowd were gagged apart from a few pisspots.

Yeah...that bloody Red Army didn't start any decent chants, did they........
Game was boring...hence even the subs bench getting involved in the crowd's "I'm bored, let's start a wave" initiative...
Most entertaining part of our night was watching Redson use the mud path down the hill as his own personal mud slip n slide...to great response from the crowds until the Weslo old fart deemed that his 'fun' was too dangerous...

WTF have red army got to do with anything at a international friendly?
I didnt think the game was boring considering the conditions and at least both teams were prepared to attack. Seen many more tedious A-League games this season.
Zullo did well and didnt mind the new keeper who looked solid throughout. Some positives anyway given the big names that were missing.

Friendlies are always boring an non events - hence why I didn't even watch it on TV.
And this is not knocking AO, or the 'b' team that played.
Even when I watched all LFC games, I didn't travel to very many friendlies (I went to about 5 over a 20 year period).
I can understand why locals from here went as they don't get a chance to see the national team in their home city very often, but anyone going expecting a good game was an optimist IMO.

Geez, what were people expecting - Barcelona? Atrociously slippery conditions and most of the time the ball control was quite good.
Anyway, I wont be surprised if they dont bring back internationals to Adelaide in a long while.

It was written in blue, you've obviouly got your colour-blindness and lack of humour goggles on again....(maybe if I'd put a

in, that would have made it better?)
Usually the Red Army are the first ones to blame for 'lack of atmosphere' at the games.....

The red army are to blame for everything. Maybe the strong security presence and the fact they would have been strict on foul language, meant the "army" were short on ideas. In fact, I think it is their fault that the cost of living is so high these days. They should be taxed for excess carbon emissions!
Anyway, given the long off-season, I trust they are working on some new chants to invigorate the crowds for next season. I trust the "leaders" have received my pm's for some suggestions?

I am sure once the AO is redeveloped we will get important games here in Adelaide.
However given the poor crowds in Asian Finals even Hindmarsh is beig enough for games not involving Australia.

Embarrassing? Pathetic! Adelaide got their chance to show their love for football, and people moan and bitch about "it's just the Kiwis" and "it's at Adelaide Oval". Regardless of being a crap ground to watch football, people should have showed up in numbers to prove a point. Rather, people are only willing to go if it meets particular parameters, and if not, won't care! That is why any major football event will not be seen in little old Adelaide.

It's more than go to AU so it's not a surprise.
Also remember a lot of people who go to AU matches are not Australian, and they wouldnt pay exorbitant prices for a game with no big names.

Adelaide is Australian! Aussies should support their country no matter the sport.

As I said before I rarely pay for friendlies. There is a chance I would for the Aus first eleven against a decent team, but I wouldn't consider it for a non event like last night.
I am saying that as an ex-pat, I would expect Aussies to go though whoever was playing.
