Alot of the general public is struggling with the cost of living.

Lets just say husband and wife decide to go;

Tickets; 2 x $85 = $170
Food & Drink ($15 each) = $30

$200 for a few hours entertainment - or stay at home and watch it free?

Why do you think the Category C tickets have sold out so quickly?

mate coming from u, thats a bit silly!
so why dont u stay home and watch PA V carrrrrlton on that day???

Port vs. Carlton tickets aren't $85.

I think you'll find that AAMI Stadium would be empty if they charged that much!

port v carlton is not the same and should never be compared to International football.

the new stands at Adelaide oval should never be compared to general admin at aaimi either.

if you make comparisons put all the facts in

Must be a copycat side.

Wellington Phoenix (A-League) is spelt differently (correctly)

No Cahill, Kewell, Schwarzer & Neill.

This team playing sunday, could be the future Socceroos. Its worth that just to see the players that could win trophies for Australia!

worth the money in my opinion

Most of the Carlton team playing on sunday could be part of a premiership in a couple of years too, so it would be worth going to see them.

$15 for food and drinks, that covers 3 pints tops.

That wouldnt even get you through the warm up!

Given conditions and weather forecast and a friendly against the 60th ranked team pretty good crowd.

No doubt Stud will bag the crap out of the crowd.

A good night only dampened by five Blackburn fans near me who spent $85-00 each to bag and complain about Australian football and supporters all night.

$85 is that bad for the best seats ... it is for me but ...

I know people who have the readies to spend whatever to do whatever and they wouldh't blink at that price, nor would they consider sitting anywhere else. It was noticeable tonight that the stands were full (apart from the Southern) so the FFA got that right.

The 'poor mans' seats around the ground are insulting - we couldn't see below the bottom of the keeper's shorts when he was on his line and had a boom camera in front of us - had to buy the cheapest seats available thanks to a couple of months on half pay thanks to the great shape our economy's in. Didn't stop us enjoying the game though (it's our national team vs our perenial rivals, what's not to enjoy?)

for the price, a pretty average game of football it must be said.

NZ looked no better than a Div 1 Sunday amateur side quality wise.

Also, what stadium in the world can you sit 20 rows back in the main grandstand and still get wet? It's the like the roof was leaking or something. Fucking joke of a grandstand. Good to see my tax dollars being thrown at this shithole of an sporting arena.

Also must be said. How clueless was the game announcer? many, many mistakes. It does absolutely no favours for Adelaide ever hosting another international again when you have such an amateur job being done behind the scenes....

All in all, If I did have to pay for my ticket, I'd be a tad pissed off right now.

Aww fair go, it was fun waiting to see what he got wrong next. I reckon he must have tried every combination he could think of, including getting it right ... once. The pearler was saying that NZ were substituting number 1 (for no-one) when the fourth ref held up the board for 1 minute of extra time in the first half.
