Mr Ferguson's quotes after the Arsenal game set things up perfectly:
"We're not going to get the decisions in these big games, I'm afraid," Ferguson claimed after the game. "We are not going to get decisions like that in a major game. It's too big a game and we don't seem to get these decisions."

Bullshit. It would only suck if it goes against you.

If it goes for you, the lot of you will be on here after the game going 'WE'RE UNITED, WE DO WHATEVER THE FUCK WE WANT' or however that stupid expression goes.

Since he didn't stop the ball going in the net, I suspect he'd have got away with the pen and a yellow. Never ceases to amaze me how much Vidic gets away with, he's like an all-in wrestler trying to undress the striker but never gets pinged.

I thought it was a red if it stops a goal or goal scoring opportunity, which it did.

Yeh shoulda been a penalty to arsenal, if the assistant and ref saw it
the even up was the owen penalty, so dont say that united got all the calls in that game

I agree that it probably did, but the ref couldn't have been sure that RVP was going to reach it, unlike a striker who's already hit his shot. I think a yellow was most likely, after all, he does play for Manchester United!

I didn't say they got all the calls.

Assuming they scored the vidic pen, then got the second and you got the pen it would be 2-1

That's like saying who knows if either pen would have been scored.

Arsenal won the game fair and square, 2 penalty decisions weren't given and they scored a goal.

Spurs fans have a case of feeling hard done by this week, not Utd.

Every time we lose we're hard done by. It's our divine right to win every single match.

If Fergy and Arsene refereed their games, Arsenal and Man U would be equal top, undefeated. The refs are the only reason they ever lose games isnt it?

it's kind of his job:

http://twitter.com/#!/optajoe

Where else do you get pearlers like this:
111 - Of current players, Arsenal's Theo Walcott has played more PL games without getting a single booking than anyone else (111). Gentle.
