"We're not going to get the decisions in these big games, I'm afraid," Ferguson claimed after the game. "We are not going to get decisions like that in a major game. It's too big a game and we don't seem to get these decisions."

Bullshit. It would only suck if it goes against you.Le King wrote:chelsea's the one with the refs decisions going there way lol so will be interesting
would suck if the result of this game was influenced by a cabernet ref or linesman decision

If it goes for you, the lot of you will be on here after the game going 'WE'RE UNITED, WE DO WHATEVER THE shiraz WE WANT' or however that stupid expression goes.

Vidic? Would it have been a penalty and sending off......Le King wrote:chelsea's the one with the refs decisions going there way lol so will be interesting

Since he didn't stop the ball going in the net, I suspect he'd have got away with the pen and a yellow. Never ceases to amaze me how much Vidic gets away with, he's like an all-in wrestler trying to undress the striker but never gets pinged.e-football wrote:Vidic? Yeh shoulda been a penalty to arsenal, if the assistant and ref saw ite-football wrote:I thought it was a red if it stops a goal or goal scoring opportunity, which it did.
I agree that it probably did, but the ref couldn't have been sure that RVP was going to reach it, unlike a striker who's already hit his shot. I think a yellow was most likely, after all, he does play for Manchester United!e-football wrote:I thought it was a red if it stops a goal or goal scoring opportunity, which it did.
All fixed up now, ill get it signed if you likeBow Ties Are Cool wrote:Sorry?Le King wrote: if we ever play a soccer match against eachother, please point urself out, because since you are so obsessed with me and my posts, ill give you the top i wore during the game so you can take a part of me home with u ;)
Good point re it being only probable.Nice One Cyril wrote:I agree that it probably did, but the ref couldn't have been sure that RVP was going to reach it, unlike a striker who's already hit his shot. whos to say they woulda got a second?e-football wrote:I didn't say they got all the calls.
Assuming they scored the vidic pen, then got the second and you got the pen it would be 2-1
Every time we lose we're hard done by. It's our divine right to win every single match.e-football wrote:That's like saying who knows if either pen would have been scored.
Arsenal won the game fair and square, 2 penalty decisions weren't given and they scored a goal.
Spurs fans have a case of feeling hard done by this week, not Utd.

Not really a good metric, but![]()
if u go for Arsenal, Liverpool or West Ham.
111 - Of current players, Arsenal's Theo Walcott has played more PL games without getting a single booking than anyone else (111). Gentle.
