Which should hand you guys the title still, Arsenal have lost Van Pansie again ( seriously what's the point of relying on that guy), and Fab is still 50/50.

Nasri will have to carry them the whole way.

That was a huge game for us to get into the top four, here's hoping we win our game in hand on Man City, so that we're at least assured fourth if Tottenham overtake us.

When did Rooney become such a whining bitch? I expect that crap from Nani, not from an "Englishman"

Deserved win for Chel$ki, my only solace comes from Torres being an epic waste of money.

Lol Torres is a waste of money. The day he scores I hope the commentator doesn't say "and that's why chelsea spent 50million pounds on him" hahaha

However much I dislike the way Torres treated us, he is still one of the best in the world, he will score plenty of goals for Chelsea I have no doubt.

He has in fact scored more goals this season than Rooney anyway.....

Torres played well this morning, he's hesitant still though, that's a bit frustrating.

I thought he was going to score a couple of times but he keeps taking one too many touches.

Still alot of class touches and passes, so it'll happen eventually.

Still laughing at Fergie carrying on about the Luiz "foul" on Rooney but didn't see Rooney's elbow! I am sure all the United "fans" will have all their excuses lined up - amazing how many of these "fans" weren't actually watching "their" team this morning though...........and this despite their love for and right to support the team.

TBH I thought he was average, but it's a game of opinions.

I know you won fair and square but I will say it anyway.

Chelsea will have problems soon, Terry, Lampard, Essien Cole and Drogba are all getting on. Drogba is on his way out anyway. But it will take a manager with balls to tell Terry and Lampard they are now only squad players, and for Chelsea sake that will have to happen sooner rather than later.

Terry will not go quietly, he will most likely sleep with the manager's wife and/or daughter(s) to get revenge

Terry is one of our most reliable players.

Surely you don't think he's passed it?

Torres is still world class. If he stays injury free for a while he'll be back to being the most feared striker in the EPL.

He is not what he was - 3 or 4 years ago with him at his best you wouldn't haven lost 7 league matches so close together, the skill of keeping a team at the top is moving players on BEFORE they are passed it but on the slide. all the great managers do that.

Man United manager Sir Alex Ferguson on Chelsea's David Luiz: "He's done Chicarito before he got booked, and he did Rooney two minutes before the penalty was awarded, I don't know how he was still on the pitch. The players have endured a lot of decisions against them and they didn't deserve that tonight. Chelsea aren't out of the title race if they keep getting decisions like that."
Even I can see the irony there. Regardless, well in Fergie.

great game to watch, many decissions which could ot turned the result either way.

for me the crucial one was the penalty??? Seriously??? No, way was it a penalty. and the Luiz foul??? deserved another yellow.

Vidic was bein a peanut, he committed 2 fouls in like 10mins, deserved the red. Chelsea were all over Man U and deserved to get the winner, not from the penalty, though!
The amount of pressure the Chelski were applying were enormous, so well deserved win to Carlo and his men!!!

neways, ManU need to re-group and face the scum away this weekend, without Vidic.
Also, no Vidic, Ferdinand and Evans. Whom will fergie play as central stopper, along Smalling????

LUIZ, this guy is an awesome player, going to be good for us many years to come

Also would like to see Zhirkov start for Malouda, he just looks bored out there, he needs some time on the bench to find that early season form, doesnt seem to be hungry

i predicted the score, at least it makes the title race exciting, i dont think we can close the gap but this will give us a lot of confidence in the champions league and to secure a champions league spot

LUiz has lots of very good attributes, but he needs to work on his positional play and his discipline could be an issue.

He got caught out a couple of times when Nani was on his wing.

He needs maturing for sure.

he was best on ground and there is not much you could fault on his game besides blocking off the opponents too often which should of cost him a red card, got lucky there

Ivanovic had a shocker and i think Bosingwa should of come on earlier to keep up with Nani, Ivanovic was also caught ball watching for the Rooney goal

It is great that there is more talk about the CBs at the moment than the strikers.

I think this area will decide titles in the coming years and maybe even this year. Chelsea have the tightest defence this year and would be romping it in if it wasn't for a lack of goals up front which they are trying their best to fix by buying Torres.

Chelsea's terry is still a great player and reads it well but will injuries get him eventually and how long will he last? Signing Luiz was a great move for this reason.

Same can be said for Ferdinand who is fantastic on the park but isn't available often. Smalling is coming through but perhaps made a big mistake this morning and that sort of mistake costs big time.
Vidic is great but prone to concentration lapses, giving away stupid shots and red cards all too frequently.

City centre back Toure is the same as Vidic but without the Serb hot streak, great some days and bad concentration in others - Kompany is a rock however. They have the youngsters like Boyata who has done some great things (including the shut out of chelsea in the early season) and some shockers like getting sent off vs Arsenal after 4 minutes.

Arsenal have Vermaelen who is probably the best defender in the whole league, but has played just a handful of games this year. Djorou and Koschielny are at a good age in their early 20's and when they play well, they can stop anyone - seemingly including Barcelona but maybe not always Birmingham

What a deluded c*nt ferguson is. Any other manager would cop a touchline ban/hefty fine for this. Let's see what the FA dish out....
Sir Alex Ferguson pulled few punches in his assessment of referee Martin Atkinson, both for awarding the penalty for Chelsea and for not sending off Luiz moments earlier when he appeared to foul Rooney - himself the beneficiary of some lenient refereeing at the weekend.

Ferguson said: ''The penalty kick was so soft. Deary me. But we played very well. It was a great performance by us. We didn't deserve that. That's three years in a row (at Stamford Bridge) referees' decisions have changed the game.''

On the Luiz decision, he added: ''It was incredible. Even before that he'd done Chicharito off the ball. He'd done him late. Nothing done, the referee's in front of it.

''He does Rooney clear as day, (the referee is) six yards from it, he doesn't do anything. That changed the game. These are decisions that change the game. And he's going to be refereeing every week.

''But I'm proud of the players. They've endured a lot of decisions against them but they've come through it, they've done their best. They've created good chances. They didn't deserve that.''

Asked if Chelsea were back in the title race, he added: ''If they get decisions like tonight then it can change everything. They got a lot of decisions tonight that surprised me.''

He stresses me out at CB. He can't command the back, and hesitates.

Having said that i think he cost us like 3 mill so it was a pretty good deal.
