No-one has heard anything of panthers so why assume? And regardless if they are anything Like other teams who have come up, shutting up shop will be learnt making it hard to score!
Fulham will never lie down and just concede a thumping so I'll stick to no easy games!

Olympic - best team on paper individually however big things have been said before, would it be considered a disappointing season if they don't win the league considering? And do Olympic have enough to field a reserves side? Could have a real impact when injuries pop up and the like!

Cumby to be the real dark horse this year I feel! Expecting them to take the place of fulham in the 'big' four!

No easy games at all this year!! Should be the most competitive year to date! To say I'm excited wouldn't cover it!
It would be disappointing if they don't win, given they have by far the "best horse". As you say, there will be other things to consider too...but if they don't get many problems (injuries or internal issues...) they are the top - no doubt. Rachel Quigley is the one to watch, best player of last season, will score in every game unless marked tightly, but I don't see many teams being able to stop them.

Metro and A.City are good too but a step below IMO.

they put 2 in against the reserves, my daughter plays for AC reserves and it was their first outing as a team against another.

Also, these times are for trying things, players in positions they haven't played in etc.
I am sure Olympic did their own thing too.

I wouldn't read too much into it either way.

If the Olympic vs Adelaide city game was serious, Racheal Quigley could be the new Goalie, as thats where she played in the first 30 mins.

Quiggs played in goals??

Preseason game or not its pretty hard to take it seriously, imagine metro stars starting with Scott Tunbridge in goals or Damien Mori starting in goals for Adelaide City, it just wouldn't happen

Why would you be protecting her?

In goals is hardly protecting someone.

Tomorrow morning @ SASI
SASI vs Cumberland Prems
Many Cumby girls are actually SASI players, so it should be an interesting one!

That's why Cumby won't be fielding their strongest team as I've heard most of the SASI players will actually be playing for SASI.

She played in goals as there were no keepers at the game, and she was quite happy to have a go for the team.
As you would know no one really wants to go in goals when asked, but she volunteered to do it, and did it well considering how many times the ball went back there.

what happens if understrength Cumberland defeat the full SASI team,do they then become the new SASI team. As there is not a great deal a difference in standard between the SASI/Lady Reds / Premier players, I wouldnt be too suprised.

SASI have been defeated by more than one Prem team.
I think AC defeated them and also Metro? If not, they went close.
Definitely Olympic beat them comprehensively a couple of weeks ago.
Fair enough, Olympic are supposed to be the best team, but they wouldn't last 1 minute in the W League. :o
SASI are just a very young squad, nothing much at the moment really.
I think they are all 14-15...it's normal that they lose against top teams.

SASI seem to have some problems but Cumby sure are a force. They have recruited top players and are as good as anyone else, like A.City and Metro. Only Olympic are stronger IMO.

Cumby 5 - 0 Adl Hills
(I think that was the final score anyway)
Cumby team was a reserves/prems combined side.
Hills looked quite useful - I'm sure they will do fine in the 'State League' (old div1)

Sturt 4:Hills 1
Decent game, Sturt quite impressive without a few of their gun players, will be a force with full squad.
Hills very good against a Prem side.
Hills also without a few of their experienced players.
Should be good season for both!

Adelaide Hills have a great young team, and will do very well this season.

Hopefully will see them in Prems in the not to far future!

Sturt showed some strength there with key players missing.
Can they be a "dark horse" too? With all the talk about Cumberland and Olympic, maybe we are leaving them out?
They haven't got a bad team, last year did well and again will give everyone a good run IMO.
Don't forget last year win against Olympic...
Can definitely do well against any team.

City won both 1st team and Reserves comfortably
Didn't see 1st team game but Metro played attractive football in Reserves but did have a couple of Prem players for part of game. City Reserves young and at times played some quality football too.
City 5 or 6 to Metro 1 I think.
Prems 4:1 to City something like that
