I wasn't aware that Pim actually played. The players on the park didn't play simple as - weak excuse to blame it all onthe coach but then again whingeing, whining and blaming it on someone else - especially if they are not Aussies - has become a sport that Australia is getting really rather good at.

in the end, he's responsible for the team, tactics and the formation (none were capable of being competitive against the Germans)
he didn't believe we could do anything but lose against them, and that flowed through the whole team
